"Vinyl & Velvet was asked to sing at my wifes 50th birthday party. Her brief was to get people on the dance floor and she certainly succeeded. Lovely voice with a good reportoire of songs had our guests happily dancing the night away. Could not ask for a better singer for a special occassion. We had a great night and would certainly recommend Vinyl & Velvet based on her lovely personality, great voice and professionalism on the night."

"Phillipa has played not only at my wedding, but also at many professional events I organised and she is absolutely, completely worth every penny! First, the logistics were easy and involved no hassle for us- she knows exactly how to make a space work and provide you with the best musical experience. Secondly, the music rocks. Her amazing voice is different to almost everyone else and she can play any song you want. And I mean ANY song. Lastly, and most importantly, Phillipa is a show-woman. She has such charisma and stage presence that it makes the whole audience have a great time. Every event she has played for us, including our wedding, people have talked about her for a long time afterwards. Phillipa gets the party started and can be hilarious, soulful, rocking, powerful and smooth across a whole set. Highly highly recommended. You won’t regret it."

"Dan is a brilliant singer and we enlisted him to perform at our wedding and we was not disappointed. Everybody at wedding was commenting how good he was and got people up dancing. He did such a good unique cover to our first dance song request and we would recommend him in a heartbeat! "

"Paul played recently for an outside birthday party for my husband. It was just perfect hearing his rich and mellow voice wafting through the garden. His relaxed manner provided the perfect vibe for the evening. His range of music delighted all, so many people commented on how having live music, Paul in particular , made the evening. Paul was so easy to communicate with, being prompt and very amenable . I would not hesitate to hire Paul again or to recommend him for a wide range of occasions . "

"I must say Chris was absolutely brilliant! He went over and above for us. He came to see the venue with us before the date to check out acoustics and settings. He was faultless with our playlist, which in turn made our day truly perfect. We can not thank him enough!"

"Saw ben playing in salisbury and booked him and his partner to both do a set , both made our party and we will be using them again . Ben is not only a great singer and performer but a brilliant guitarist and very professional and friendly and easy to work with . We have been to see ben perform in numerous venues now amd will be booking him again "

"James was amazing to work with. Great before the event asking exactly what we were looking for and then performing throughout the day in some serious heat and playing some great tunes. The participants loved having him there to entertain them while having their lunch and enjoying the sun. I would highly recommend having James perform at your event, wedding or party. "James was absolutely brilliant. He came in and set up without a fuss, played two absolutely cracking sets of all the songs we had picked in advance from his set list PLUS a load of extra songs that he had recorded accompaniments for especially for our party! He is a very talented musician and singer and the icing on the cake was his performance of the song we did our first wedding dance to. We will definitely be asking him to regale us again in the future. Thanks for a genuinely brilliant night James! :)"
