"It was a pleasure to have Chris play on our wedding day, first welcoming guests with bagpipes and then playing low whistle during the ceremony. Chris is an excellent musician - the music was beautiful and made our big day even more special! By having multiple instruments in his repertoire, we were able to pick the perfect music for each part of the day. Throughout the planning process, Chris made great suggestions for pieces of music to play and was very flexible and accommodating. "

"Everything went well and I would like to give a testimonial for Alan. He was very popular! Alan gave just the kind of unintrusive but interesting and entertaining background music that we wanted for our wedding day. An excellent selection of contemporary and classical songs was provided before the day (all wedding related in some way!) and we had no problem choosing 2 hours worth of material, including special songs for the brides entrance and signing of the register. Alan is an exceptional classical guitarist, and proved very easy to work with before the ceremony - and many positive comments were received from guests during and after ceremony - I'd highly recommend him. "

"We booked James to play at our wedding, and he was amazing. Everybody was full of praise and he was so engaging with our guests. We thought he sounded brilliant on his promo videos but to hear him live was exceptional. It was like having our own private concert with an A-list performer. We couldn’t recommend James highly enough. In the run up to the big day James’ communication and organisation was second to none. Also helped by him being a super nice guy!"

"Chris was very professional and pleasant. He really took the time before our wedding to chat through all questions or preferences we had, he even had some suggestions of his own too which were very helpful for us. His music was really great and it helped to add to the atmosphere of the day and fitted in wonderfully with our countryside surroundings. We had a lot of non-Scot’s at our wedding, and so many of them loved the added touch of having a piper there! Chris played beautifully and his music added an extra special something to our day! "Mark played our wedding on the 1st of August at Hestercombe gardens, and we could not have been happier. Really easy to deal with and a seriously talented bloke. He was able to adapt our first dance song into an acoustic version which was perfect, then followed it up with a great mix of rock covers which had everyone on the dance floor! His setup with all the lights etc really created a great atmosphere and we got loads of feedback from guests about how much they had enjoyed the music. We’d hire grouvecat again in a heartbeat. If you want great acoustic rock from a guy who can really perform and looks the part as well then Mark is your man! Thanks for making our evening so awesome! "

"I contacted Louise prior to our wedding which was held on the 26 August 2022 at St Mary at the Elms Church in Ipswich. I found Louise very helpful when it came to making arrangements, I planned to hold our reception at the Dove Inn, St Helens Street, Ipswich. One might think this was not a very posh venue for a wedding and one would be right. However, our Beckett family have had very close ties to the Dove Inn since the late 1800s. So, it is a very special place for us and has been a place we meet for birthdays and special evens as well as being a place to go for a quite drink etc. The wedding was held outside at the back of the pub, best described as a semi covered area with very large square canopies. I was surprised that Louise accepted the engagement as it was very apparent that Louise is a very experienced, professional, and celebrated pianist that you would be well suited at very high-class hotels and such events. Plus, she agreed to travel from Diss in Norfolk to play for us. I needed to make more than one last minute adjustments and I found Louise to be very versatile and she clearly understood what I was looking for. We agreed that she would play a mix of classical, light jazz and Frank Sinatra style of music, which Louise played to perfection. I had in the region of sixty-five guests. I originally agreed with Louise to play for two hours, expecting guests to switch off after that as there were no dancing facilities. Louise’s music was so infectiously pleasing to the ear that I asked her to play for another hour, because the atmosphere was electric and I did not want to lose that harmony that she was creating as the hour neared to the end, I begged her to play for another hour, which she agreed to. I have taken time to write this extended review because I am a person that wears my heart on my sleeve, and I am open and honest with everyone. Despite my brief to Louise, that I wanted her to feel like a guest and not just the pianist, I asked her to take regular breaks and participate in the ongoing buffet. I can honestly say that Louise played for four hours almost none stop. In my opinion this was way over the call of duty. I do however have one criticism of Louise if it can be called that. Louise I honestly believe that you should increase your fees. What you did for my wife and my guests was incredible. You made our day extra special, and your fees should be increased for the magical music and memories that you create. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Doug Beckett "
