"Hi Russ. A quick note to say we were delighted with The Newland Seekers at our joint 70th birthday party at the Bishops Palace in Wells last Saturday. We are renowned for our parties so you had a tough act to follow but, despite Nev's slight sore throat, you created a great atmosphere and everyone thought the music was fantastic. It was especially good for me as you kindly allowed me to run through a couple of songs in advance of the party so I could re-live my youth as an aged rocker. This made it special for me and I’d like to thank you all for accommodating me in such a welcoming fashion. Well done and I have no hesitation in recommending you for similar events. "A very good mix of music to suit everyone, and certainly look like they could edge into different genres depending on your requirement for your event. Have only seen them once so far but will definitely be out to see them when they are next local to us! Best band I have seen in ages!"

"I hired the BV's to play for me after hearing them play at a friend’s house party, and once again their performance was excellent. I asked for lively, bubbly and jazzy music and that was exactly what I got, though I am sure they could turn their hand to a whole range of music. Since the party I have had a great many positive comments and praise from guests saying how much they had enjoyed the music and the natural ease with which it was delivered. I would recommend them highly and definitely hire them again."

"Amazing! We can't recommend House of Chords enough! We chose them because they seemed more unique than other wedding bands we had looked at. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, with children up way after their bedtime, having a whale of a time. Everyone was talking about how great they were at breakfast the next morning. House of Chords were professional and friendly from start to finish and responded very quickly to emails which is always so helpful when you are busy planning your wedding. Mike contacted us in advance of our wedding to touch base and we had a reassuring and informative call, talking us through how it would all work. Their set list covered all ages and was well thought through based on our music tastes we had discussed. They were one of the best parts of our wedding and an unforgettable experience which we wish we could do all over again. Thank you to Mike, Andy and the rest of the band, from Elodie and Denis."
