"I booked Joanna to perform at my local Masonic Lodge. She is absolutely outstanding!! Prior to the evening she regularly kept in touch to ensure that the night we planned properly. Her performance on the evening was brilliant - she connected to the audience and treated us to a diverse and powerful display of her repertoire. Lots of dancing ensued. Highly recommend Joanna!!!"

" Brilliant Birthday Band Private Function, St Albans on Saturday 20 April 2024 Wow, what a night ! Absolutely brilliant band, what a stand out evening we had! Everyone commented on how fantastic the band was and the venue - just perfect. All were excellent musicians and three ladies on lead vocals ensured everyone "got down" to the music. Also, loved they way they entered into the spirit of the party with the guitarist and vocalist coming into the crowd at one stage and playing/singing with the crowd whilst we were dancing. So thank you Uptown Funk for making sure we all had an absolutely awesome birthday event. "Top class entertainer, such a lovely lady, perfect Joanna performed a wonderful professional show at our celebration dinner for 80 guests at Stockbrook Manor Billericay. She arrived to set up at the agreed time so the sound check was all completed well before the guests arrived. Her songs were thoughtfully chosen to leave everyone happy and feeling good, just right for our age group. She got us joining in singing and on our feet dancing too! Guests left full of compliments and loved her anecdotes about her time in the musical theatre world. We would definitely recommend Joanna and would hope to use her again. "

"We just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding. You completely exceeded all of our expectations, you guys are incredible and had everybody on the dance floor all night. Apparently even people in the local town were sat out in their gardens listening to you guys until the end of your set too! We have had so many messages from our friends and family saying what a memorable part of the day the band were and how completely knocked out they were by you. Special thanks to your amazing sound engineer who played all of our music for us exactly as we wanted, it was not unnoticed how patiently he sat there waiting throughout our meal to pause/play the music. And of course, our walk in music was perfect too. We saw him packing up right at the end of the night past midnight, it was a long day for him and he was amazing. Not to forget to mention the incredible sound system. It is the first wedding we have been to where there were no issues with the microphones/volume of speeches. "I was slightly nervous about using a band we had never met but in the event the band was brilliant. There was a lot of flexibility around the song selection and their voices were incredible. I came down the aisle to their version of ‘Amazing Grace’, it was so special. It makes me tingle all over just recalling it. Every song was sang beautifully. So many of our guests commented on how good the band were. You made our marriage service very memorable and special. "

"After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"Saw Whisky & Ginger at our local golf club last weekend and they were amazing! The voice! The songs! They had us oldies up dancing long after we'd normally be heading for bed! Would thoroughly recommend anybody to book and can't wait to have you back at the club!"
