"This band were amazing and I am posting this review because I truly would recommend them to others. They played at our wedding and provided a 2 or so hour set. The thing I loved about them the most is they bought their own style to well known songs and were able to keep the crowd engaged and entertained! I would like to thank the band again for being part of our day!"

"Funk it Up! were the perfect band for our wedding! Their repertoire found favour with young and old and guests were up on the dance floor from the very first song! A great energy radiated from the stage as Funk it Up! did their thing! Highly recommend. Best dance band in town! "

"“Absolutely loved this band! They looked and sounded incredible! Completely worth every penny and more! If like us you appreciate good music, played well and don’t want to compromise on it for your wedding then I would strongly recommend hiring this band. Every person I spoke to afterwards said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard and wanted their details. The dance floor was packed from start to finish whilst we got our funk on! "We are so pleased we went with Richer Music to book our wedding entertainment - Kings of Motown. Communication from Richard was amazing throughout the process, he answered all of our questions and made sure everything was in place which made us feel at ease and confident with our booking. We saw the demo for Kings of Motown and with no hesitation booked them for our wedding. They exceeded our expectations on the day. Not only are their vocals incredible, everything about them is of the highest standards. From their appearance to the way they conducted themselves, interacted with us and all of our guests and worked the room. They are amazing entertainers and professional performers. Our first dance, which was the first track they performed was a highlight of the wedding day. They made it so special for us and our guests. Our guests were constantly on the dance floor whilst they were performing throughout the evening, everyone enjoyed themselves so much and continuously commented on how incredible they were. Even after the wedding day they have been the topic of conversation. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without them. We can’t thank Richer Music & Kings of Motown enough for the outstanding service provided."

"Just wanted to say how much my family and I LOVED the band on Saturday. Not only were they wonderful musicians they were wonderful people too and they really helped make it such a special night for me, my sisters and my parents. The cover of their first dance wedding song was so beautiful and all the other songs they played really added to the momentum and general atmosphere of the night. They were also so accommodating letting us use the mic for our speech and really interacted well with the guests at the end to get people involved and dancing. We gushed this drunkenly to them all on the night, but please pass on a genuine thanks from me and my family! I also wanted to thank you both for being so ready to answer emails, questions, and even phone calls from me in the lead-up to the party. It's all been so hassle-free thanks to you both! Thanks again for making a memorable event that much more of a success. "

"Absolutely brilliant performance at our party! Mitch brought his DJ/percussion combo and honestly, it was a game-changer. What could’ve been just a regular office do turned into something really special. The live drumming during the DJ sets got everyone up on their feet and made the night one to remember. From start to finish, everything was super easy to organise and went off without a hitch. Our team’s still talking about it, and we’re already thinking of booking again next year! "
