"This band is not a stop gap and should be considered for any event. My regrets were that they weren't there for the whole event, a mistake on my part. A difficult audience, but they performed superbly and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their evening. Certainly for any military functions they should be your first contact. Laura and the band, thank you so much for making my RSMs evening the focus of the night. "

"I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party. Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! Thank you all so very, very much."

"Modern Super Swing Band was the highlight of our Corporate summer event. Communication prior to the event was prompt and Sam took onboard all our suggestion in regards to music preferences. Everyone loved their style and song choices. They really brightened up the whole evening. We will make sure to keep Sam’s contact details for our future events."

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. From young children to dancers in their 90s, South West Swing Collective entertained everyone with boundless energy and style.
