Review Centre: Swing Bands

"We decided late in the day that live music would enhance our summer party. We looked at a number of groups but The Mid Atlantic Sax Trio seemed best to fit the bill. Their sample videos impressed and we were confident to book them. They arrived on time, were extremely courteous and engaged with our guests taking requests and playing a few encores which was welcome. We have no hesitation at all recommending them to other clients. We will be asking them to return in 2018 for our next summer event."

I have had so many lovely comments from people about how great they thought the band were from their music selection to the lead singer to the great atmosphere they created. "I don't often do reviews, but thought I really should in this case. I saw Andy Ax perform at the Gin and Prosecco Festival in Norwich. He'd already done a show in the afternoon apparently, and did another 2 hours in the evening. It would be fair to say that I was very impressed! Andy is a phenomenal vocalist - think Jamie Cullum / Harry Connick Jr / Michel Buble, although the thing I liked most about him is that he doesn't try to imitate the singers who originally performed the songs, but sings them in his own voice, if that makes sense! And what an incredible voice! He was fully engaged with the audience and the audience loved every second of it from the Hen Parties to the Family on the front table to the elderly ladies who sat and watched, everyone was catered for and involved. Of course, the kind of music Andy performs isn't to everyone's taste, but if you like a bit of Swing, you can't go wrong with Andy Ax. I can't wait to see him again!"

"If you're looking for a Michael Buble tribute with a sense of humour and an amazing voice, you won't go wrong with Andy. Very nice guy and a great singer. We hired him to do the live DJing too. He was a big hit with our guests who all had a fantastic time and danced their feet off. Will definitely book him again."
