Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We were delighted to welcome Bethany Jane to our 'Purple Fest' in August here at our supported living facility. From the moment she began performing, she brought an incredible energy and warmth that lit up the whole event. Her voice is incredible, and she chose songs that everyone could connect with - uplifting & fun. Bethany's interaction with the audience was wonderful too, she made everyone feel included. Many of our residents and other guests commented on how much they enjoyed her music. Her performance was one of the highlights of our festival, and we'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented musician for any event. Thank you, Bethany, for making Purple Fest so memorable!"

"I found Laura through a local music agency when I was considering the possibility of providing l music to our guests before our marriage ceremony and in the pre wedding breakfast period as a surprise for my husband. I was charmed be her manner when we first spoke. She instantly understood the mood I wanted to convey. She has an extensive repertoire and was able to provide music that absolutely fitted my ideas. I was a little concerned that it might be difficult for her to be heard outside but her amplification system was perfect for both indoor and outdoor performance. I would love an excuse to hire Laura again- we enjoyed her playing so much and our guests were so complimentary about her music. It was just perfect. I mean every word! "I found James while perusing for a live musician for a surprise 70th birthday party we were holding for our mum. From start to finish, James was communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. We welcomed mum in while James played a small DJ set, then he sang live. I was blown away by his talent and the hypnotic smoothness of his voice. He played a further set after a break and really got the crowd up and dancing. All in all, a highly talented musician and I commend anyone who can get to the high pitches of the Spice Girls :-) We had some of the guests round for breakfast for the following morning and they too were completely blown away by his talent. Thank you so much James, you are one of a kind and we will definitely be calling on you again! You made everyone’s night, but most importantly, you made my mum’s night."

"Philippa is a fantastic harpist and we are so happy we booked her for our wedding. Her music for our ceremony was beautiful, and she played an eclectic mix for our drinks reception, from traditional folk to movie themes. She is so friendly and was great to have there with us on our day. We can't recommend her enough! Thank you so much :)"

"Got Ed in to attend a suprise birthday party for my mums 70th, Had my mum at the front of the stage as I was giving a speech and the wife was outside waiting for the cue to come in with Ed playing the pipes, when it was time we opened the door and in he walked tunes blaring out, my mums face was priceless, she welled up and had hand over mouth, it worked she had no idea and loved it, I must say thank you Ed as this made my mums night. On the booking side of things it was really easy, fantastic communication, arrived on time etc, can not fault anything at all. Again, thanks Ed and if at all needed we will definitely be contacting you again!"

"I got in touch with Last Minute Musicians a couple of weeks before my wedding because we had had a last minute donation to our wedding fund and I could finally afford to have a live musician sing me down the aisle. We used Leo Songfield and could not have been happier. He did an amazing cover of the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to ...it had people in tears as it was so beautiful. I would highly recommend him and Last Minute Musicians."
