"My partner and I spent ages looking for the perfect band for our wedding and even though we live in London and the band are from Liverpool, as soon as we saw them we knew we had to book them. Let me just say - they did NOT disappoint. Micki sang our first dance song "All Of Me" so beautifully and we'll remember that special moment forever. After that the party really started and everybody danced all night long. We loved that the band included sax, as you don't always get that option with a smaller line up. The whole band were just incredible and great performers too. Micki's voice is literally one of the best I've heard live. Book them, you won't regret it!"

"We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."

"We can not thank Urban Knights enough, if you are looking for a wedding band do not look any further! Not only was it a fantastic performance but they came and set up with no hassle, communication with their manager was easy and everyone commented on how amazing they were. They interacted with the crowd and made us feel special throughout the whole night, first dance song was incredible and we truly felt that they cared! Dying to see them again, blown away! "

"Great gig, thank you so much. I chose well! Your energy was soaked up by us all at my 50th party and culminated in a fantastic feel good finale on the dance floor. ‘One more song’ was the call from my nephew and all of us would have savoured more time, but we ended on a high and that’s all I could ask for. I’ve had great feedback on you, and obviously will see if you are available for any future family events! "

"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"

"We thought you were fantastic – super professional, really friendly and the students loved you! It was a very tough crowd, (international students always are; massive range in cultures, preferences and expectations) so it was a relatively small crowd towards the end of the evening. But you remained superb, continued to engage with the small audience so we were very pleased indeed!"

"I can't recommend this band enough. Whether they are playing background music during dinner or playing some more upbeat music to get people dancing a little later on, they always do a great job. Extremely punctual and make our lives as easy as possible, we know once they are committed to the event that we can rely on them to turn up and sort themselves out. Looking forward to having them back!"
