"My husband and I booked the band to play at our wedding party after hearing them as a 3 piece at a local event! The communication with them was brilliant, we had no real notion as to what songs or style we wanted so we gave the band a free rein and boy did they deliver. From the set up and rehearsal until the end they were all consummate professionals. The music tight, the singing fantastic and they gauged the room flawlessly. Everyone loved it, all ages dancing and singing along. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who needs a band to play at their event."

"W!RED band played for us at our wedding last night. They were absolutely amazing. From our first dance to the final song they kept the dance floor full all night. All of our guests raved about how fantastic they were and their choices of music kept people of all ages dancing all night! During the evening, they checked in with us before they started and also during their break to make sure we were happy with how it was going and if there was anything more they could do for us. They engaged with our guests and gave them all a fantastic evening. From the moment we booked the band, they regularly checked in on us to make sure plans were still going ahead and what sort of music we were looking for and what first dance we wanted to see if they could accommodate that. They did a brilliant job with our first dance and we loved it. If we had any questions they were very prompt in getting back to us and were very approachable and friendly at all times. I would absolutely recommend them for anybody wanting a fantastic band to make your event amazing, be it a wedding or anything else at all! I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again! "

She was professional, talented and punctual and we received many compliments on our choice of live music from our guests during the course of the evening. "Funk it Up! played two amazing sets at our International Women’s Day Dance in Whitstable in March 2024. They were fantastic from beginning to end! Communication was great before the gig and they were friendly, accessible and professional throughout. They played a wide range of fabulous music which was spot on and had all our guests dancing and singing along. All the band are great musicians but what a coup to have such a fantastic, confident woman at the top of her game on lead vocals, epitomising the theme of this event. We’ve had such positive comments since the gig and I can’t recommend this band highly enough."
