"Hello chaps, this is Phil Peake. You played at my mother-in-law's party today. From Ann, my wife Linda and I and all our family and friends, we wanted to say a huge thank you for your services. "We spent a great deal of time trying to find the right group to play at our summer wedding, and were so lucky to find Evelyn & the Band. We were spellbound by their demo songs and videos, which they easily outperform in person. Their repertoire is very broad, which makes them perfect for the wide spectrum of tastes at a typical wedding. The band contacted us well in advance to get a feel for the music we wanted, and how they would fit into the programme for the day. After our first chat, they produced a draft playlist, which they were happy to tweak to include a few favourites. They also offered to learn whatever we wanted for our first dance, and gave such a spellbinding performance of it on the night that we had to dance for nearly two minutes on our own before the best man could snap everyone out of it! They brought some fun background tunes to play whilst they weren’t on stage, and were very helpful in explaining what we should provide in the way of power and space for them to perform. They gave a really fabulous performance, getting folks dancing and singing along throughout the evening. We couldn’t have been more delighted with their music, or enjoyed ourselves more. We thoroughly recommend you book them while you can!"

"We had Daisy & AMJ play for our wedding in September and had so much fun! The whole experience was made just so easy, from booking to agreeing our first dance, Daisy was on top of everything. They went above and beyond to get our first dance request sorted, and played so beautifully. The evening was perfect, we had loads of people up dancing - young to old! Would definitely book again."

"Elliot was fantastic! He is a great musician with a lovely voice, who does not "just" replay known songs but gives them his own touch (we found a few of his versions were better than the original ones!). Not only that, he was very easygoing and flexible on the day and extremely patient and understanding with the children (that can't have been easy!). We can only say a big thank you for contributing to make our event a success. "

"After a long search for a Jazz & Swing band for my partner's 50th, I contacted What's New. They were in contact with me immediately and we quickly and easily made the booking. Sam was great with communication and we were able to discuss repertoire etc. They were the perfect band for a birthday party and immensely talented at what they do. If you're looking for an effortlessly cool, contemporary jazz and swing band to entertain and perform beautiful arrangements, this is the band for you."

"Oscar on violin and Barney his brother on accordion where pure class for my mums 80th. They played a mixed set of gypsy jazz, Irish jiggs and more contemporary pieces. Beautiful timbre to both instruments, everyone was asking how to book them. Great day, great lads and suitable for all ages, well done boys, magical memories made. "

"Francesca was wonderful, she sang all of our favourite songs beautifully and made our event extra special. She also suggested that she make announcements where needed (that we hadn't thought of) and made my mum feel super special. She was very professional and engaging. I would definitely recommend Francesca for any event!"
