"Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"Andy & Chris made our wedding evening a brilliant night that non of our guests will ever forget in a hurry. I would also recommend that you include the saxophones as they add something special to the show. Andy & Chris looked after our whole evening starting and ending with their amazing disco to get the party rocking before and after their show. They are unbelievably accommodating and will plan the evening with you to ensure that you have a great time. Every single one of our guests thought that they were excellent, with many asking us how on earth we managed to find them. If you need first rate entertainment then you should certainly get in quick and book these guys before the secret is out and they become too busy. They drove all the way down to Hampshire from the Ipswich area for our wedding and we can't praise them enough.................................Thank you guys."

"Adam has been a member of my band since 2014. In August we recorded our 3rd Album together for 'Hannah Williams & the Affirmations' at Rockfield Stuidos in Monmouthshire. We have toured the world together and played hundreds of festival and club shows internationally. Together we were sampled by Jay Z on '4.44', a Grammy nominated Platinum record. He is an excellent guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and bassist and is great fun to work with. This band will bring energy and style to any event and entertain you and your guests!"

"Joel & Ben provided the entertainment at my 50th birthday party, which was a black tie event in a boutique hotel. The boys arrived early, were well prepared and were setup in no time. As well as being talented & skilled musicians, they read the crowd well and were truly fantastic. Both on the night and in the days following, everyone was raving about Joel & Ben. I unreservedly recommend them!"
