"Gareth John and Nouveau Quartet were a highlight of our wedding day. Having Gareth involved felt especially meaningful - he was my music teacher, and that personal history added something to the occasion that we hadn't quite anticipated. At our request, they arranged two songs specially for the quartet - one for the bride's entrance and one for the exit. Both were beautifully done, and it was a moment that clearly resonated with our guests too, judging by the number of people who mentioned it afterwards. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Nouveau Quartet were faultless. They covered a fantastic mix of classical, pop and film music with real skill and warmth, and kept the atmosphere exactly right from start to finish. If you're looking for live musicians for your wedding, we'd recommend them without hesitation."

"Wow! How wonderful are you two! We had an amazing day, topped off with an amazing evening and have received such positive feedback from our family and friends that we are absolutely basking in your glory!! Chatting to you, Jackie, on the phone long beforehand to explain who we are and what we hoped for was very important, and you were so easy to talk to. Your play list was great and the couple of items we rejected were taken out of the list without any issues. You opened with a song of our choice for our first dance, even though it was not on your playlist, and you graciously invited others on to the dance floor as the song progressed, in response to our request to steer the spotlight away from us. You listened to us and understood. You seemed to have people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. I don't think I've ever been to an event where that has happened. You had four and six year olds dancing and playing with the lights on the floor; you had friends who prefer a slow dance smooching to a number of songs; you had a large number of people following your "dance" moves; you had many people singing along; and we have received comments from the non dancers that your music wasn't too loud, so they could carry on conversations while others danced. And, amazingly (given that we had told you we were a bit stuck in the 70s) you had the teenagers up and dancing and having a really great time. We had a number of discerning musicians among our guests and without exception they thought you were a great band. You arrived to set up just as we were starting to eat yet there was no disruption. "We booked Lucy & John to play during our wedding evening party and DJ afterwards, and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the moment we booked, they were so easy to work with. They liaised directly with our venue beforehand to organise everything needed for setup, which took a huge amount of stress off our shoulders and meant we could just enjoy the day knowing everything was in hand. They were reliable, professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. Lucy's saxophone performance was unreal! She is such a talented musician and her energy had everyone on the dance floor. The DJ set afterwards was perfect, combining songs we had chosen with some fantastic 80s classics that kept the party going all night. If you’re looking for entertainment for a wedding, party, or special event, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. "I have been to plenty of 'Under the covers' gigs previous. This one being the most recent, it was another truly amazing gig and the best band to close the night. They are crowd pleasers, they know how to get the party started and keep you dancing and singing all night long to the classics. I love that they also had the option to vote for songs in-between too, using a simple QR code to vote for "A" or "B". You can see how much they love the songs they play as well, putting their own spin on songs too with the mash ups. I'd rate them more than a 11 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟"

"Awesome band! Our original booked band cancelled on us last minute and they agreed to perform at our 25th wedding anniversary just few months before the event. They were amazing. The dance floor was never empty and they even went out of their way to learn and perform our first dance song upon last minute request. We highly recommend the band. They are all very friendly too. Everyone enjoyed the night and the atmosphere that the band brought in."
