She was so professional, warm and effortless in the way she guided us through everything. Choosing songs and planning the sets felt incredibly simple in her hands, which was such a gift during the chaos of wedding planning. She performed two evening sets for us with her guitarist, and together they created the most beautiful atmosphere. It was classy, romantic and completely magical. "If you ever get the chance to hear pianist Rick Vale play, take it. My wife and I first heard him on a cruise ship, and from the moment he sat down at the piano and launched into his boogie-woogie style, we were hooked. We made it a point to attend every session he played for the rest of the cruise. I’m from Mississippi and grew up on blues and the fiery piano sound of Jerry Lee Lewis, so that style means a lot to me. When Rick graciously agreed to play a few Jerry Lee Lewis favorites, it absolutely made my trip. He captured the spirit and energy of that music while still making it completely his own. Beyond his incredible talent at the keyboard, Rick has a natural way with the crowd. He’s engaging, funny, and creates an atmosphere that’s pure fun.
