"Chris played for us at my Dad's funeral in Airdrie; outside the church as we left, then piped us along the road while we walked to the graveside. It was absolutely beautiful and my dad would have thought it was amazing. My dad lived in Warwickshire for 37 years and Chris played "Caledonia" as we walked and it was just so fitting. There were many who attended from England and they all absolutely loved it. wonderful send off for my dad. Thank you. "

"Mum had a piper play at her wedding and when she knew she hadn't a long left told us that she wanted a piper to lead her down the aisle at her funeral. As we laid her to rest he played The Skye Boat Sone (her favourite tune) there wasn't a dry eye anywhere. Thankyou George "

"Robin was fantastic from start to finish. He communicated well and helped guide us with our choice of music. He was very flexible with the ever changing Covid restrictions. His piping was superb and really added to the feel of the whole day. Would highly recommend Robin for any event or wedding!"

"I hired Spud to pipe open my Tavern. He flew over to Virginia in March but unfortunately we weren’t ready to open. Instead of sitting in his cabin enjoying his holiday, he chose to pipe for me at our local churches and schools. My community benefited from my poor planning! I have to say my family benefited too. There’s nothing like hearing the bagpipes coming from your cabin, surrounded by the mountains, it was beautiful. I hope he’ll make it back to Virginia soon!"

"Now that my family have gone back to Italy and Edinburgh I just wanted to thank you for playing at Dave’s funeral on Monday. You played beautifully and everybody at the cemetery agreed that it was a very apt tribute to my husband. I know that you’re playing from the chapel to the graveside gave both my daughter and myself strength to walk from the chapel behind the coffin - I felt my head lift and my spine straighten and the position where you stood on the other side of the path will always be in my memory especially when I visit his grave. Thank you again for adding that special touch of dignity to a very dignified man."

"We managed to secure the services of bagpiper, John McShane, through Last Minute Musicians. The event was the funeral of my dad, a staunch Scotsman, even though he had lived in Wales for most of his life. Throughout the whole process John was a true professional. He kept me updated with any details and helped to support me with what was needed (I had never been to a funeral where there was a bagpiper so had no idea what to request). On the day, John was amazing and the pipes certainly added something special to what was a very emotional time. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone for their event."
