"Tony played at my Mum’s funeral yesterday and the whole experience was lifted by his presence and playing. He was positioned by the grave and started to play when he saw the hearse and cortège coming into sight. It was a completely uplifting and poignant experience hearing the pipes echoing around the cemetery. Tony interspersed playing at certain parts of the service and his suggestions as to what he thought would be the most appropriate, were perfect. Thank you Tony from all the family for such a wonderful performance, especially under the exceptional circumstances and restrictions that we are all experiencing at the moment."

"I can't tell you how much we enjoyed having Tony at our wedding. The wedding party was running about 15 minutes behind, however Tony was very prompt. He played the requested songs for the processional, recessional and for guests as we made our way down the stairs to the livery hall. Tony was a good sport, good humoured and made a very nice toast at the end. I was torn between having bagpipes for the ceremony/drinks reception and a pianist for the wedding breakfast. In the end, I had both. Hands down, the bagpipes are what I and my guests will remember. It was fantastic, a great talking point and one of the best decisions I made. Booking with Sarah Jane was a pleasure. We had a few emails back and forth, and I really enjoyed the small business 'air' and personal interest shown. I would be more than happy to book again and recommend to anyone who might be interested! All the best and many many thanks!"

"This gentleman helped us give my auntie a beautiful send off today. Not only did he stand in the pooring rain whilst playing perfectly, he also took time out to meet and console my family. He could have waited indoors for the hearse to arrive but he chose to play to my Aunties neighbours whilst we waited. He was the last to leave my aunties home yet managed to be the 1st to arrive at the crematorium to play us in. I left the choice of music in his capable hands and im so glad i did, he had the professional ability to match the right tune to the present mood. I would strongly recommend Malcolm for any event. Unfortunately he is unavailable to play on the date of our wedding, i might just have to reschedule the date to ensure he can attend 😊. Thank you Malcolm (true gentleman)"
