"With only two days notice Patrick fulfilled my expectations on what was a very emotional and sad day. Communication in emails between us was very good and timely and nothing was too much trouble. He arrived well in advance of the funeral to give him time to warm up the pipes and all those arriving were very appreciative. The deceased, my partner was from Scotland. He loved the bagpipes and would have been mightily impressed. My original Piper, sadly, was suddenly taken ill and as an organisation you certainly lived up to your name of 'Last minute musicians.' At a very anxious time, with constant updates, you made the whole booking process very easy. Thank you. I would highly recommend you. "

"I was a guest at a recent wedding 21/06/2026, where the bagpiper performed, and I was genuinely impressed. The music was absolutely fantastic and created such a memorable atmosphere from the moment they started playing. It added a wonderful traditional touch and made the occasion feel even more special. The performance was professional, beautifully played, and clearly appreciated by everyone there. It was one of those moments that really stood out from the day, and many guests were talking about how brilliant the bagpiper was. I would definitely recommend them for any wedding or special event. "Roger was an excellent addition to our wedding day. He got in touch beforehand and was happy to work with us and the venue to ensure nobody saw him as he was surprise for our guests. He looked very professional and the guests (especially our Mums) thought he was fantastic, as did we. The booking process was also easy and the communication from last minute musicians excellent. "Both myself and my wife Leighanne can’t thank George at Arkleston Piping enough. Nearly 3 hours away from Glasgow, in the middle of nowhere and with no phone/internet connection but George arrived bang on time looking like a shiny penny. He took the time to speak with us and make our big day even more special by being flexible and personalising our piping needs. George played flawlessly and every guest was extremely impressed. "From our daughter Kerri that got married at Loch Garten on Saturday the 7th August. - Spud was arranged as a surprise fo our wedding - and he really made the day ! Not only was he absolutely smashing banter in the nervous "before it's all go" moments, he was also the only one present to support my last moment run to the bathroom (in the forest) before heading up the aisle! (in the forest by Loch Garten) . His fab playing added a real air of atmosphere and ceremony to our outdoor, lochside wedding that it wouldn't have otherwise had - and he was a major hit with all the guests. Thank you so much again - cannot recommend enough! Kerri (and Chris) Ramsay-Collins From the Brides parents - We had an amazing day with Spud. He obviously has done many weddings but at least ,it was a first for him for a change, when the bride insisted on going to the bathroom in the woods before they set off. ... He was called in at the last moment as a surprise from us to our daughter and we are very glad he had a cancellation and could do ours. I could go on for ever about how good he is so I won't. What I will say is this, if you don't have him at your wedding you are a fool. He is a very nice man and you have the added bonus that he is a superb piper, the rest speaks for itself. "We asked Simon to play us out of the church when we got married in May last year. Being half Scottish I always knew this is what I wanted and Simon did not disappoint!
