We provide all the equipment required for us to play, all we need is electricity. Ideally 3 or 4 13amp power sockets.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes absolutely. Just provide us with a playlist of your choice or we can choose some appropriate music for you event.
The Disco Ballers is made up of professional musicians that have performed across the UK and abroad for a combined total of 50+ years, including Bristol Beacon, Glastonbury Festival, the Royal Festival Hall in London.
We are of course inspired most by the highest energy party bands of the 70s and 80s, such as Chic, Sister Sledge, and Earth,Wind & Fire.
The band is made up of professional musicians that have performed together among various projects for years and came together to form The Disco Ballers.
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
We usually need about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time to set up and soundcheck so that we're sounding great and ready to roar! We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We're open to all kinds of options including music for your ceremony (duo or solo piano) as well as a DJ set after our band performance.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade and shelter for our equipment as well as a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We have a songlist here and we are happy for clients to pick freely from that; tell us the songs you love, and the ones you definitely *don't* want!
Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing.
For all weddings, we offer a first dance of your choice, included in the price.
There is a fee of £65 for each song you would like extra, to account for rehearsal times, etc.
Lucy is our ever reliable Lead Vocalist/Saxophone extraordinaire. Expect her come rain or shine!
But additionally, we do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. Making sure the show can go ahead is everything to us, and so this helps to ensure there will never be a last-minute catastrophe.
If your timings change after booking, just let us know as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate your new schedule, whether it's adjusting our set times or helping with any other logistical details. If the changes affect our availability, we’ll work with you to find the best solution that keeps everything running smoothly.
