Eccentric Pony were amazing at our wedding! We loved them, and our guests loved them! They have this amazing ability to play incredibly well, and also be super interactive with the crowd and get everyone involved. I work as a full-time musician, so choosing the right band for our wedding was a big priority for me. Excellent band. All our guests loved them and lots of people asked for their details. They let us pick songs we wanted from their extensive list so we were able to tailor the music to our friends. There were sparklers, limbo and one of our friends got dragged up to perform with them. Lots of great memories. Really wonderful and talented performers that made the party. We always knew we wanted a live band and they were worth every penny!

There are no words to explain how amazing eccentric pony was for our wedding this weekend. There are certainly not many wedding bands that will play rage against the machine or steel panther and we are so happy we found the one that not only would, but enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed listening. Eccentric Pony played at our wedding this month and were amazing! They played all types of music really well and learned a special song for our first dance. I'm one of those blokes who sit in the corner with my Diet Coke at a party and believe that any money spent on a band at a party could be better spent but Eccentric Pony have completely changed my view. If they'd have charged twice as much, they'd have been fantastic value. They do everything set up, disco and play - you don't need much more for a great night and they're a fantastic band - they got every one of us children of the 80's up dancing - they got the mood spot on - played some great songs - really nice blokes - just brilliant.

OMG! Blown away by the long list of song choices but I opted for 3 surprise sets based around my favourite artists.

Kathryn and I hired Eccentric Pony’s full four-piece band to perform at our wedding.
They were friendly and quick to respond to our questions and requests, including learning a new song for our first dance.
Their impressive list of available songs took some time whittle down to make our set list!
The band arrived on time, and set up discreetly while other events were going on.
Their performances throughout the night were incredible, and our guests were highly complementary – they even chanted for an unplanned encore, which they graciously performed.
At the end of the night, the band packed up cleanly and without any hassle.
Eccentric Pony have been a pleasure to work with from start to end, and we will certainly be keeping them in mind when we need a band in the future.

Really good experience with Eccentric Pony playing at our wedding party. Having a band at our wedding was a given. I spent months agonizing over which one to choose, but when I saw Eccentric Pony's You Tube clips, I knew I had found something very special. I booked them about a year in advance without consulting anyone, because I was afraid my guests and I would miss out if I didn't act soon.

We had a wedding that celebrated everything we loved: Star Wars, music and our love of 80s films. It was no surprise that our first dance was going to be to The Glory of Love from The Karate Kid 2, and because we had a band, we really wanted it to be performed live. It was not on Eccentric Pony's playlist, however.

Jimmy promised us the band would learn it especially, and would perform it exactly as it is on the Peter Cetera track. And that is exactly what happened. My husband and I were thrilled.

Eccentric Pony played everything we had identified on their playlist to such an incredible standard that by the end, even the most firmly rooted wall flowers were filling up the dance floor. They built up the energy through the night and the atmosphere was electric.

Eccentric Pony - WOW !!

A "surprise" birthday party (60th) was truly turned into a night that I know I'll remember for a LONG time thanks, in no small way, to these four lads - they were tireless, performing a wide range of music all night with effortless ease and filling the room with songs across at least the last five decades

The sound system was also set up perfectly for the venue, with family and friends (well, the very few that couldn't find room on the dance floor) still able to talk to each other without having to raise voices to a "shout" - VERY cleverly done, chaps - BRILLIANT !!

In the days since our party, there have been SO many positive comments about this group and the atmosphere they generated in the room - I've honestly lost count of how many times I've heard "how good was that band?"

These guys are the real deal and it's also very obvious how much they enjoy what they do - if you're lucky enough to find they are available for your next celebration/event, just book them - I promise you WON'T be disappointed

We’re so pleased that Eccentric Pony played at our wedding! From our first dance to the final song, there was always someone on the dance floor. Such a brilliant mix of tracks were performed, an impromptu conga and there was a feel good vibe all night. We had so many compliments both on the night and when reminiscing after; our guests loved that members of the band enjoyed chatting between sets. Special thanks to Jimmy who communicated from booking to finalising the first dance song. Honestly can’t recommend these guys enough, already thinking about where to go for my 40th so we can book them again!
