Eccentric Pony were absolutely brilliant at our wedding! They played our first dance live and made it such a special moment. From the moment I contacted Jimmy he was extremely professional. We chatted about what I required on my day and provided him a list of our favourite songs. Jimmy was more than happy to learn them and play them and everything else just flowed easily. We spent ages looking for a band that fit our budget and the vibe we wanted and wow we are so glad we booked eccentric pony! They were incredible and everyone said how amazing they were! They have a huge song list to pick from, we went for a mix of indie, rock and modern pop and classics and they smashed every song! They really brought the vibes for the evening and even got me (the bride) up on stage at one point! We loved them!! Jimmy and drummer were fantastic at our intimate wedding at Mitton Hall. Jimmy played guitar and sang during the reception and then got the party started for our evening reception. They took requests and read the room really well, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a brilliant wedding band.

Where do we even begin? Jimmy was absolutely amazing from the first message, so responsive and it really felt like he wanted to be part of the planning process. We had an unusual request for our first dance (a mix of How Deep is Your Love x Come and Get Your Love) which are two songs that don’t really go together but Jimmy worked his magic and sent us a sample that we could use to practice with our choreography and it was so much fun to do on the night! Liam was also amazing and was able to play another mashup idea that I had and made me feel completely at ease on the morning of when I was worried about timings! Jimmy and the band were absolutely incredible and the dancefloor was full all evening, even accommodating all of our Taylor Swift requests. The guys were lovely to chat to in between sets and just felt like they were a part of the wedding. We wish we could get married all over again just to have them back!

Above and beyond is what you get from Eccentric Pony! The dance floor was packed all night when they were playing and when Jimmy took our very very long playlist and turned it into something that had people on their feet singing and dancing in-between sets.
Our day fell pretty behind schedule and they handled it perfectly switching from 3 shorter sets to 2 longer ones with no fuss.
As a wedding present I asked if they could learn one of my husband's original songs. Jimmy was brilliant taking an acoustic version and turning it into a pop punk bop! He even asked for a digital copy so that he wouldn't give the game away by streaming it too many times on Spotify. On the night it was perfect and they let Alistair jump up and sing it with them. Not only that but a few days after the wedding we got an email with a full band recording for us to keep!

We were so impressed by Eccentric Pony. Their communication throughout was second to none. We were able to pick our own songs from a massive range of genres and artists. On the day, they made everything so easy. The playing was brilliant and our dance floor was flooded in seconds - sounds like an exaggeration but it really isn't!
At one point, the band led an impromptu limbo game on the dance floor with a giant flow stick- so fun!
Countless guests said how fantastic the band was. I know that having a band is a significant expense but it was one that we are so glad we chose. I felt Eccentric Pony helped make our day really unforgettable and special. Thank you!

I had a brilliant experience. Jimmy was really nice to speak to both before and during the party. Nothing at all was a problem. He was there before me setting up and co ordinated with the venue too. He had a huge choice of songs to request for his live sets and provided DJ music for us all evening. He has a lovely voice and sounded great. Eccentric Pony were simply awesome! We were worried about choosing a band because we had to just trust reviews and sample videos and it made us so nervous.
But - WOW. You didn't just nail the music, you played with so much enthusiasm and you were communicative right the way through the process. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we received so many compliments from our guests who said you were absolutely incredible - which of course we agreed with. We had planned a lot more for our first dance but had to scale it right back to a prom sway when I spent the afternoon tripping over my dress, but one of the highlights of the whole day was when you picked us out for Mr Brightside. By then I was in a pair of John's Auntie's flip flops and we'd had enough fizz that we just let rip and had the most brilliant dance. That, and you keeping everyone on the floor for 'Sit Down', one of my favourite songs, and seeing the entire room crying and laughing at the same time trying to hold a squat.
You and the band absolutely made the evening 'do.

Jimmy kept in touch in the lead up to the wedding making sure we had everything we wanted included in their live sets. It was all so well organised and went like clockwork. Can’t thank them enough for such a fantastic night, all our guests loved it.

The promo materials they have are great, but I can assure you they’re so much better live and are also the sweetest people ever.

No ask was too much for Jimmy (we were so annoying too honestly), he’s an absolute pro. They even learnt a couple of requests for us and delivered them flawlessly.

They had their work cut out with us. 1/3 of our guests were working (pretentious and judgey) musicians and everyone was feral for them.

Also, all the girls and gays (myself included) were banging on about how hot Jimmy is which is a (albeit problematic) bonus.

Seriously guys, thank you for making our day all the more special. I’m eternally grateful to have found you.

Such an amazing group to have at an event very accommodating the crowd loved them.

We first saw Eccentric Pony at my sister's wedding and when we began planning our own they were one of the first suppliers we contacted. They played such a wide range of music that kept everyone dancing the night away. Communication leading up to the day was fantastic and learnt our first dance song which made our night.

Eccentric Pony were a great addition to our night. We had requested some Beatles songs, as we were based in Liverpool, and songs you can dance to, and the band understood exactly what we were after. They created such a fun environment for our guests, and had everyone on the dance floor from the first song to the last song, even chanting for one more song. Eccentric Pony were outstanding. Prior to our wedding, they communicated with both us and our venue to ensure a smooth set up. On arrival, Jimmy greeted and congratulated us before starting to set up. The band learned and played our first dance which sounded perfect and will be a lasting memory. The band were incredible all night and kept everybody dancing - even personalising a song which was a highlight of the night! We have had numerous compliments from guests and couldn’t be more grateful to the guys! Thank you all again!

What a band! We hired Eccentric Pony for our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible. They had people dancing all night, the dance floor was never empty. The musical talent on display in some of the songs was next level and way above what we were expecting. Jimmy was very friendly and helpful whenever we had any queries. Jimmy also played solo during our ceremony which made the whole day even special. We can’t even imagine how another band could be better. If you’re even considering booking Eccentric Pony, just do it. You will not regret it.

Absolutely fantastic! Had the room dancing and created a fantastic atmosphere from beginning to end! Played 2 great sets and DJd for a good hour or more for me. Could not have been better! Recommended!!

Eccentric Pony were absolutely amazing. They communicated professionally and messaged back promptly. The process was very simply and they spoke to the venue on my behalf for getting everything set up so the stress was out of my hands. Everything they played was just amazing and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better band. We decided to change our first dance song at the last minute and they were more than happy to accommodate. Jimmy and the band played for us at our End of Year Meeting Event. Jimmy was great to communicate with, very responsive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They turned up ahead of schedule to set up. They absolutely got the party started and were thoroughly entertaining and a great time was had by all. Can't recommend them enough.
