We booked these boys to play live music at our garden Hen party just to add a twist to it. They certainly didn't disappoint. From my first phone call nothing was too much trouble. All I can say is that they can play whatever you ask, old, new, modern anything at all. Wow, they completely changed the dynamics. It took no time at all from when they started playing to people singing along, dancing and loving it. It created such a party atmosphere and the boys were very entertaining with their music. Everyone was buzzing and it brought us all together. We loved every minute, it really was the best decision of the day!

Eccentric Pony were a surprise from my husband for our small Covid safe outdoor wedding. I can say, with all honesty, that having them there really did make it feel like a celebration.
People stayed longer than they planned and danced in the middle of a public park in Stockport at 2pm, all because of the party vibes the band brings!
They took requests and played rock, pop, RnB, Motown... anything we could throw at them.
I can’t thank them enough. Made our day so personal and an absolute ball!

We booked James for our Wedding back in march 2020, I gave him the task of creating the daddy daughter dance; I wanted a song that meant something to me and dad but wanted a combination of 2 songs.. James blew me away by mixing Leona Lewis and The Time Warp together - it's safe to say it shocked dad too!
James also sang our first dance song and it was phenomenal, What great way to end a great day x

Special request songs were performed beautifully and the band interacted with our guests creating a fun and energetic vibe.

The dance floor was full during both their sets and our wedding guests raved about how great the performers were.

Jimmy was always helpful and quick to respond when planning our event and we could not have had a better day! Highly recommended Eccentric Pony!

We booked Eccentric Pony to perform at our wedding reception in September. They were absolutely astounding, and we are already trying to think of another reason for a party so we can book them again! Initially we booked Eccentric Pony to play two 45 minute sets, but then decided to ask them to supply the 'DJ' music too. Jimmy could not have been more helpful, and completely put our mind at rest that they would be sure to do all they could to help make our day special. And that is just what they did! The music was better than we dared to hope for, and they really got EVERYONE up on the dance floor, (even my 81 year old uncle!!). My wife and I can't recommend them highly enough, they were punctual, professional and went the extra mile to ensure we had the day we'd hoped for. We can't thank you enough.

I just wanted to say a huge T H A N K Y O U to you and the band for your performance at my birthday bash at the weekend, you were absolutely brilliant.

You got the party started and kept everybody on their feet all night, fantastic set choice (I knew I’d made the right decision to let you choose the music) and you matched my preferences perfectly – I don’t recall any tracks that didn’t have me tapping my toes.

I am especially touched by the memory of your rendition of a song played personally for me [the Palaye Royale track], which you and the band learnt specifically for my party – absolutely incredible. You should see the smile I have at this moment remembering it. There aren’t enough superlatives to properly express how grateful I am, a party needs people but people need good bouncy music to feel good and you provided the perfect soundtrack for a feel good night. The music soundtrack you selected between your sets and whilst setting up was perfect too, the party never missed a beat!

You are all clearly talented musicians who know your instruments very well, as evidenced by learning the new track for me, and I would ask you to pass on my thanks to Mickey and Neil (just simply brilliant) and the irrepressible Stuart banging away on his D-Drum Dios Bubinga snare drum – he was a joy to meet! Thank you, I hope I get to see you again.

What can I say... you guys kept me smiling all night and the guests raved about you! Such a talented duo... you'd think there were about 4 of you on the stage it was the greatest sound! THANK YOU x x x x x x x

Thanks Eccentric Pony for providing fantastic entertainment at my 40th B’day bash. I took a punt on these guys after a mates recommendation & was glad I did. Three great natured lads who can play pretty much anything you ask for. Guitarist / singer knows his way around his instrument that’s for sure. Bass player threw in some cool harmonies & the excellent drummer was spot on. They helped make the evening memorable & kept the party moving. Those not into dancing were happy just to watch the group perform. Top entertainers! Everyone enjoyed them! Thanks again guys.

Having seen Eccentric Pony playing live at a gig, we booked them to entertain the guests at my daughter's wedding. They played in the church during the signing of the register, and afterwards at the wedding reception.

They were very professional, tailoring their performance to suit our requirements with specific requests, and many of the guests commented on how impressed they were. They were certainly a high spot during the celebrations!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Eccentric Pony to anyone - so much so that I have booked them again, to play at my birthday party!
