Born in England and having grown up in Wales, Liv studied music performance in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands. She is an accomplished, up-and-coming saxophonist with a wide-breadth of experience spanning over a decade, and a music degree with honours. She has filmed as a saxophonist for the popular BBC series ‘Doctor Who’, as well as upcoming feature film, 'Hedda'. Liv has also performed in such renowned venues as Carnegie Hall (New York), the Royal Albert Hall (London), Schouwburg Concertzaal (the Netherlands), BBC Hoddinott Hall (Wales) and Sardinen USF (Norway), as a member of various groups and orchestras. More recently, she has performed at hospitality venues and weddings throughout Norway, both solo and as a member of duos, trios and bands. She is comfortable playing a wide variety of genres ranging from blues and soul to classical and pop, for easy-listening environments, or as the focal point of an upbeat setting. Liv is well-versed in performing alongisde DJs, and as a part of function bands, big bands, classical quartets, orchestras and blues bands.

I need a performance space of at least 3 meters x 2 meters, and I require access to 1 x 13 amp power socket.
Yes, I can provide a professional PA system suitable for small to medium-sized events. For larger venues, I may need to discuss additional sound support with the client. I can also bring a simple lighting rig if required.
I’ll need clear directions to the venue. It’s also important to know if the venue has a sound limiter, and if so, what level it’s set at.
Yes, I can provide background music before, between, and after my sets. This can be from a pre-prepared Spotify playlist or a custom playlist chosen by the client.
One of my the best venues I've ever played was in Norway at Hulen, the oldest rock club in Northern Europe located in an old World War II bomb shelter built into the side of a mountain. Playing at Engen Restaurant in Bergen for a wedding was also a highlight - the energy on the dancefloor when I combined sax with DJing was unforgettable.
I was raised on Northern Soul, so Edwin Starr and Jr. Walker & The All Stars will always have a special place in my heart. My favourite artist is Otis Redding, and the greatest song has to be Mr Brightside at the end of a great dance party.
I started gigging while I was at university, playing with different bands and projects. From there, I built my solo act with saxophone and backing tracks, and later added DJing alongside my playing. Since then, I’ve performed at weddings, parties, bars, and events across the UK and abroad, including Norway and Malta.
I love weddings - they’re such a special celebration, and the energy from guests is unbeatable. There’s nothing better than being part of creating those unforgettable moments on the dancefloor. That said, I also really enjoy intimate events where the sax can bring a stylish, chilled vibe.
I normally arrive around 60-90 minutes before the performance to set up and soundcheck. A typical performance is 2 x 50 minute saxophone sets within a 2-hour booking. For DJ + Sax packages, I usually perform for 2–4 hours with a mix of live sax and DJing throughout the evening. I can adapt timings to suit the flow of your event.
Yes, I’m happy to perform outside as long as there’s a flat, level surface and access to a nearby power supply. I just ask for some form of shelter or shade to protect my instrument and equipment in case of sun or rain.
Absolutely - clients are welcome to pick favourites from my repertoire or suggest songs they’d love to hear. I can also learn up to 5 special requests in advance, or more for a fee. For DJ sets, I’m happy to take requests on the night or work with the client beforehand to build a playlist that suits their taste.
