For most events, Ivory & Steel provide a complete self contained setup including professional PA system, microphones and all necessary equipment.

We require:
• A minimum performance area of approximately 3m x 2m
• Access to at least one standard 13A power socket
• Adequate shelter for outdoor performances
• Parking reasonably close to the performance area for loading and unloading

We are fully insured and all electrical equipment is PAT tested.

For larger events, we are happy to work with venue supplied sound and lighting engineers if required.

• Parking/loading access details
• Any special requests, song preferences or announcements

For weddings, we are also happy to discuss specific song requests for key moments such as the ceremony, drinks reception or first dance.

Our sound is influenced by a blend of classic and contemporary artists including Elton John, Billy Joel, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, helping us create a versatile repertoire that appeals to audiences of all ages.

Between us, we have many years of live performance experience across weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals, holiday parks, hotels, restaurants, social clubs and live music venues throughout the UK. We have performed for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings and wedding ceremonies to large scale community events and festivals.

As well as performing together as Ivory & Steel, Sophie is an award winning musician, pianist and music tutor with extensive experience providing live music for weddings and special events. We pride ourselves on delivering professional, reliable and engaging performances tailored to every occasion.

Yes, we are happy to perform outdoors, provided there is suitable cover and protection from the elements for both the performers and equipment.

For outdoor performances, we require:
• A stable, level performance area
• Access to power (unless otherwise agreed)
• Adequate shelter from rain and direct sunlight
• Safe access for loading and unloading equipment

Absolutely. We are happy to work with clients to tailor our repertoire to suit their event and welcome song requests where possible.

For weddings and special occasions, we can learn specific songs for key moments such as the ceremony, aisle entrance, signing of the register, drinks reception or first dance (with sufficient notice). We always aim to create a set list that reflects our clients’ tastes while keeping guests entertained throughout the event.
