We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
I started off with drama school to be an actress but I always wanted to be a singer. After my BA in acting I went on to do a MA in Vocal Performance. Since then I've been gigging around London and abroad. I use my skills aquired in drama school in my musical storytelling and I'm lucky to have studied acting before as this made me understand more about stage presence, performance and audience interaction:)
We normally arrive 1.5 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
