Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I require a flat performance area of approximately 2×2 metres to accommodate my keyboard and equipment, along with access to a nearby power socket. For venues with a piano provided, I need a tuned instrument and space for a small PA if vocals are required. Safe, sheltered conditions and parking/loading access are appreciated.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes – I travel with a high‑quality digital piano, keytar, wireless microphone and compact PA system suitable for up to 200 guests. I also have a small lighting rig to create atmosphere if required. For larger events, additional sound/lighting can be arranged at extra cost.

What information do you require about a venue?

Please let me know the venue address, any access restrictions or loading information, and whether there is an in-house piano or sound system. It’s also helpful to know the event schedule, expected audience size and whether there are any noise limiters or sound restrictions.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide background music via Spotify or customised playlists before performances and during breaks at no extra cost. If you'd like a full DJ service for dancing, this can be added for an additional fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

One of my favourite gigs was performing a sunset ceremony on a luxury cruise ship in the Mediterranean – serenading a couple as the sun dipped below the horizon is something I'll never forget. Another highlight was playing the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London as part of a corporate gala; the acoustics and atmosphere were incredible and it was a privilege to share the stage with world‑class musicians.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I grew up listening to legends like Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Billy Joel, whose soulful vocals and piano‑driven songwriting have hugely influenced my own style. I'm also inspired by modern artists like John Legend and Alicia Keys. If I had to pick a favourite artist it would be Stevie Wonder – his creativity and groove are unmatched. And the greatest song of all time? For me it's Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ – it's epic, unpredictable and still gives me goosebumps.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started playing piano at a young age and cut my teeth performing at university events and local jazz bars. After graduating, I spent several years touring as a pianist/vocalist on luxury cruise lines and in five‑star hotels across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I've since played hundreds of weddings, corporate functions and private parties worldwide, including residencies at upscale piano bars and performances for major brands. This varied experience means I'm comfortable on any stage, from intimate ceremonies to large corporate galas.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I genuinely enjoy all sorts of events, but there's something special about weddings – the joy, emotion and celebration make them a joy to perform at. I also love corporate events and private parties, where I can tailor my set to suit the mood, from relaxed cocktail vibes to high‑energy sing‑alongs. Variety keeps me inspired!

Do you take requests?

Yes! Both in advance and live! And that goes for piano covers, vocal tracks, keytar performances and more! I'm an extremely accomplished sight-reader/singer and do my very best to try and meet every challenge presented to me.

Can you learn a special song for our event?

Yes – I’m more than happy to learn a special song for your event. As long as I have at least two weeks’ notice, I can arrange and rehearse your chosen tune. I can also take live requests during your event to keep the party going.

What do you wear to perform?

I will match any dress code or theme you specify – from black tie and colour‑coordinated outfits to costume parties, sparklyHow far in advance should we book you? accessories and LED elements. I'm happy to go as formal or quirky as you'd like to suit the vibe of your event.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment?

Yes – I hold up-to-date Public Liability Insurance and all my equipment is PAT tested for safety and compliance.

How far in advance should we book you?

To secure popular dates, it's best to book six months to a year ahead, but you are welcome to enquire at any time – I often have last-minute availability.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually arrive 1‑1.5 hours before the start time to set up and sound check. A standard performance is 2 x 45‑60 minute sets with a short break in between. For weddings and longer events I can provide up to 3 sets or live music throughout the ceremony, drinks reception and evening as required. I'm flexible and can adjust timings to suit your event schedule.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes – I'm happy to perform outdoors provided there is adequate shelter from sun or rain, a flat, stable surface and access to a power supply. For the protection of my instruments and equipment, I can't perform outdoors in heavy rain or extreme cold.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have an extensive repertoire covering everything from jazz and soul classics to modern pop hits. Clients are welcome to request their favourite songs in advance and I'm always happy to learn a special request for a first dance or ceremony. On the day I use my experience to read the crowd and adapt the set list to keep the atmosphere perfect.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients often describe my performances as polished, engaging and heartfelt. They appreciate my ability to set the perfect atmosphere, seamlessly blending background elegance with energetic showmanship when it's time to get everyone singing along. Many mention my professionalism, versatility and the way I connect with audiences of all ages.
