Spriggan Traditional Folk Rock

There's nobody else I know of in the Wye Valley or Forest of Dean doing anything quite like what Spriggan do.
A unique selection of songs, played with passion and excellent musicianship.
On top of that, they're just an absolute pleasure to deal with, easy going and professional. You can't go wrong with these guys, you're guaranteed an excellent evening.

Absolutely fantastic band. Very talented, and genuinely lovely people. Fantastic humour and a really great sound. Their vocal harmonies are brilliant and there is aan amazing variety of instrumentation.

You'd be folk-ing mad to pass these guys over!

Saw this band at the 'Rock The Boat' festival back in early May, they were great fun and refreshingly different. Both young and old were dancing to some great rocky trad tunes. It was different to hear a flute in a rocky sound and also enjoyed their harmonies.

I saw these guys play at Rock the Boat pub festival in May this year. They brought good vibes and everybody had a fun time. Lots of jigs and reels to get everyone up moving as well as great harmonies and great playing.

What impresses me about Spriggan is how good they are. Their playing is really precise, their blend of harmonies sounds wonderful, and they can get the whole room either dancing or singing along. Or both! Fantastic band!
