A warm welcome from THE VIBETTES!

We are a lively vintage vocal duo that will add a fun twist to your event, specialising in 1940/50's & 1960's music. Based in East Anglia with a wealth of professional performing experience, we have played throughout Norfolk & Suffolk, most notably singing alongside Britains Got Talent 2019 winner Sgt Major Colin Thackery for Armed Forces Day . We can offer a variety of performances to style up special events as follows:

Classic 1940's/50's

With our vintage set we bring back the sound of the 1940’s-50's with a fun twist. Dressed in the iconic 1940's fashion with retro microphones, our set brings up-tempo swing and boogie-woogie rhythms with warm character performance, and a few laughs along the way. We can include some audience participation elements, including a sing-a-long aspect.

Together we take the audience on a lively journey through songs by artists such as Doris Day, The Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn, Glenn Miller, and modern day Caro Emerald, to name a few. Covering songs such as 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy', 'The White Cliffs of Dover', 'That Man', 'Straighten up & Fly Right', 'Dream a little Dream' , Hang out The washing on the Siegfried line' , and many many more!

A Vintage Christmas - 1940's/50's

Let us warm your hearts with our fun Vintage 1940's/50's Christmas set. Dressed in full 'White Christmas' outfits, we bring that cosy Christmas ' tingle' with songs from Kay Starr, The Andrews Sisters, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee and of course Bing Crosby! Suitable for any Christmas events ,we have performed at Christmas Fayres, Christmas Light Switch on events, Hotel & Restaurant Christmas parties and private Christmas gatherings.

Swinging 1960's

Take a nostalgic journey back to the swinging sixties with that groovy, upbeat iconic sound. Dressed in the sixties style, we cover popular songs from artists such as The Beatles, Sandy Shaw, The Monkees, Petula Clarke to name a few. Songs covered include; 'Here Comes The Sun', 'Daydream Believer,' 'Downtown', 'Puppet on a String,' 'Lazy Sunday afternoon', 'These Boot are Made for Walking' and many more!!

All of our sets are performed to quality backing tracks and we can provide our own PA system.

Having performed at a variety of private and public events, we are suitable for many special occasions including Weddings, Birthdays, Afternoon Teas, Themed 1940's/wartime weekends, 1960's weekends, Airfield open days, Anniversaries, Wakes & Hotels/Restaurant events, Care & Residential homes.
