"Global Grooves surpassed our expectations. Their band manager was friendly and easy to work with in advance of the gig. The band themselves were highly professional at the gig. They created a great atmosphere at the gig venue. They worked really hard to play the sort of tunes I had requested that they play. Everyone who attended has said they absolutely loved the band. I would definitiely consider hiring Global Grooves again if we have another function which requires live music. We thought you were just brilliant. "

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh band were fantastic and really made our event. They got everyone up dancing and dealt with with a large group of people. Somehow they got us all dancing in formation and getting most of the steps correct! This was a fund raising event for us so it was important to have a value for money band and to run an event that people enjoyed and would remember. Blue Jewel certainly achieved this. The feedback from guests was that they had a fantastic time and would attend a similar event next year. The fact several of our guests asked for Blue Jewel's contact details also speaks of how popular they were. Thank you again for helping us run such a successful and enjoyable event."

From the professional and helpful planning by Rachel before our big day to the whole ensemble playing brilliantly before, during and after our service. We had so many people saying they really made the wedding service so special and loved every minute of them playing. "Jack was really fantastic! Great communication. Arrived at agreed time to set up. Polite and courteous. His solo guitar/vocalist set was awesome and varied. We requested for music through the decades and he did not disappoint. All guests gave positive feedback. He even learned our wedding song especially. Would highly recommend this professional excellent musician. "

"Martin, Natalee, and Laura from Flux Ensemble played as a string trio for our wedding at The Old Mill, Aldermaston, and they were exceptional. Their performance brought a beautiful and romantic atmosphere to both our ceremony and reception, blending everything from Paramore to Chopin to Howl’s Moving Castle seamlessly. Communication was excellent throughout, and we were able to choose all our tracks from their list along with one special request that they arranged beautifully. Highly recommended."

"Rebecca added so much to our wedding. She was a pleasure to correspond with pre-event (through several COVID-related date changes). Her music is beautifully and sensitively delivered. She was working at a venue she had not been to before, and that causes her no issues at all. She helped to create exactly the relaxed environment we were aiming for during our meal. Absolutely, wholeheartedly recommended."

"We enjoyed a simply superb Evening with Rod at Burhill on Friday where we met the delightful Paul backstage. Paul helped our little boy, who became an instant fan, with his request for the pre-show music. After dinner Paul transformed into Rod and played a superb set that had the whole place rocking. Brilliant night, thanks to Paul and Strangey Promotions. "

"I don't often do reviews, but thought I really should in this case. I saw Andy Ax perform at the Gin and Prosecco Festival in Norwich. He'd already done a show in the afternoon apparently, and did another 2 hours in the evening. It would be fair to say that I was very impressed! Andy is a phenomenal vocalist - think Jamie Cullum / Harry Connick Jr / Michel Buble, although the thing I liked most about him is that he doesn't try to imitate the singers who originally performed the songs, but sings them in his own voice, if that makes sense! And what an incredible voice! He was fully engaged with the audience and the audience loved every second of it from the Hen Parties to the Family on the front table to the elderly ladies who sat and watched, everyone was catered for and involved. Of course, the kind of music Andy performs isn't to everyone's taste, but if you like a bit of Swing, you can't go wrong with Andy Ax. I can't wait to see him again!"
