""The Simon Quartet delighted a capacity audience at the first of our concerts at Lost Gardens of Heligan in January 2017. Mixing excellent originals by pianist Simon and saxophonist/flautist Sarah with a few well known standards - the quartet demonstrated their remarkable individual skills with a rock solid unity of purpose. Percussionist Keith and bassist James, a formidable rhythm section, also shone on some inventive solos. The SQ is certainly at the forefront of contemporary jazz ensembles in Cornwall, offering a special evening of accessible and rewarding jazz.""

"Nigel played at our wedding a couple of weeks ago and wow he was incredible! He played for the service and in the gap before wedding breakfast. Nigel specifically learnt a new song for us and it made the day. He even brought the groom to tears! His playing is beautiful, Nigel is so personable and accommodating. 100% recommend! "

"We were delighted to have Robbie play during our wedding ceremony. He took the time to discuss the sort of music we wanted beforehand then magically wove all of our different ideas into a seamless musical montage. He was able to follow all the cues from the wedding venue staff so the music followed the progression of the ceremony perfectly. We would recommend him to anyone considering a pianist for their event!"

"Elliot was fantastic! He is a great musician with a lovely voice, who does not "just" replay known songs but gives them his own touch (we found a few of his versions were better than the original ones!). Not only that, he was very easygoing and flexible on the day and extremely patient and understanding with the children (that can't have been easy!). We can only say a big thank you for contributing to make our event a success. "

"I just wish to thank you for last night. You were a star! You got me out of a jam and I'm so grateful. Yesterday was so stressful for me but if I'd known the quality of the accompanist that I would end up with I could have relaxed. You were really awesome! I conducted without having to worry about what was going on to my right. That's better than normal and you'd only seen the music a few minutes earlier. On top of that you called in Mantovani! Wow! Mark, I can't thank you enough, you really did make my evening, thank you. On top of that, it was a pleasure to see you practise your musicianship with such enjoyment. The joy of music! "I just wanted to thank you so much for your beautiful and natural playing at Frances’ and Simon’s wedding at The Old Hall on Saturday. To have your musical talent to help choose and then perform the pieces really made the day extra special. We have received lots of lovely comments, and believe me if you were not there, the mood would have been woefully flat and empty. "We visited Mappleborough Green Garden Centre today for lunch so that we could check out the live music Friday programme that we'd heard about. What a perfect afternoon! Christa was an amazing pianist as she was able to appeal to all ages with the massive range of music years that she covered...and some beautifully different arrangements of some well known tracks too! She even took time in her break to check out song requests from both Nanny and Grandad....and she squeezed in an Adele track for me and my hubbie at the end! Thanks Christa. It was lovely to meet you 😊 We'll be back to see you soon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you for weddings or parties!! "

"Mark really helped to make our wedding super special and set the tone with his excellent and engaging music. He was a pleasure throughout, making things easy for us and obviously put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes - his music from the church and the reception was one of the main talking points of the day - people are still talking about his atmospheric rendition of the Game of Thrones theme in the church! We couldn't recommend Mark enough - he obviously loves what he does - and that comes through in all his performances and created a wonderful atmosphere right from the start of our special day."

Thank you Will and Sarah for your great review! I'm really pleased that everyone present enjoyed the music in church, and after at the wedding breakfast in the barn. I particularly enjoyed using the little Victorian organ alongside my keyboard in the church, it gave me the sound variations that I needed to play all of your requested music authentically - yes, Game of Thrones was a blast, and then exiting to Dire Straits 'The Walk of Life' worked brilliantly! It was lovely to meet you finally after nearly a years planning, thank you again for choosing me, keep in touch. Mark (May 2016)
