Review Centre: Swing Bands

"Francesca has performed twice for us, and both times she has been superb. She and her backing musicians were first class, they delivered exactly the right kind of music at the right time, and if I plan another celebration, I won't hesitate to book her again. The only thing I would do differently would be to delegate some of the hosting responsibilities so that I would be able to spend more time just listening to a singer and a group of musicians performing at the top of their game. "

"Thank you Tony for a brilliant evening of entertainment. You pitched your show perfectly giving the audience the chance to chat over coffees and drinks after the meal with some well known romantic songs (not too loud that we could still hear each other chatting!) and then plenty of more upbeat ones filling the dance floor. The feedback from guests was so complimentary - you have a great voice and kept the evening flowing. I have no hesitation in recommending you highly. Thanks again for helping to make the evening a huge success."

"Roger and the band were brilliant throughout, and really added something to our reception. We really appreciated Roger taking the time to speak to us at some length about best options for the composition of the band for our wedding and what would work best. Professional in the run up, and very well received by our guests, the guys were exceptional. Would not hesitate to book again."

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "I recently went to see Green St. Trio at Bar 58, Acklam Village in Portobello Road with a friend. They played two very accomplished sets of jazz and contemporary music which we both really enjoyed. Some people were even dancing. More please! "
