Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"We could not be happier with Phil and his AMAZING big band. Right from the very outset things started well as he was very friendly in our conversations and happy to accommodate requests based on our tastes, as well as make his own suggestions (which we of course trusted given his experience!) When it came to the day itself the band were efficient at setting up and getting ready. Finally, the performance... WOW! 80% of the people invited to our wedding were professional musicians and the amount of positive comments was overwhelming. The band played lots of our favourites to keep us happy (including an amazing performance of In the Mood at end the evening), as well as plenty of classics to keep everyone on the dance floor (which, incidentally, was absolutely packed for the whole evening, which is something I've never witnessed before at a wedding, so that in itself is a testament to just how good and entertaining this band is). They even played a few strict tempo numbers which made our ballroom dancing friends very happy indeed. All in all the band and the vocalists were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend them higher. They made our wedding all the more special and unique and we cannot thank them enough. Need a big band? Look no further! Phil's your man!!"

"We have recorded with Sweet Dreams regularly for a couple of years and have always been impressed with their professionalism, commitment and level of energy they give to everything they do. Meg was one of the star acts on our acoustic stage at The Always the Sun festival in 2016. Her powerful emotive vocals pulled in an impressive crowd and have equally gained her a strong following on Spotify. The fact that Universal music have recently licensed one of their tracks speaks volumes about the quality of their arrangements and performance. We would recommend them unreservedly."

"LOVED this band who played wonderful jazz and couldn't have been more accommodating. I liked the fact that John, the band leader, was so thoughtful about how to get the party going with a nice welcoming vibe and also helped me decide when they should play and for how long etc. It was great having another person with whom to plan the right atmosphere. The party was for an ex-trumpet player, so it was important that we had a proper jazz band - and they are! So many of our guests said how much they loved the music; it really made the party. Thank you so much. "

"Leathernecks played at our wedding on 24.10.21 and they were absolutely incredible! They performed our first dance which they had rehearsed especially for us and had everyone up dancing from the moment they started! They played such a good range of songs and created such an amazing party atmosphere for us! The dance floor was overflowing! I am so glad we chose them to play at our wedding and I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding band to book them, you will not regret it! You can tell that these guys love what they do. All members of the band were such nice guys too and felt like friends."

"The band were great and I would book them again without hesitation. They managed to juggle the music preferences of the guest and reacting to the audience perfectly. Including some group dancing was genius and one of my favourite parts of the night. It was a great way for guests to interact and encourage some mixing and mingling. Professional set up. Loved it. "We have hired Steph for our company’s BBQ event. She is amazing. Very easy to deal with during the organisation period. Nothing is a problem. And the performance was just perfect. Everything we have asked and hoped for and much more. The feedback was nothing but positive. Everybody loved her performance and we are planning to book her again for the next event. I would highly recommend Steph to anybody in whole honesty."

"From start to finish dealing with Starbound they have been professional, polite and very accommodating to the venue, timings and our requests! We were very keen to have a band play at our wedding venue and after much research we found The MonStars who helped make our day perfect! From the moment they started playing people were on the dance floor and their balance of live music and the Spotify set was perfect for us as it meant people had time to cool off and eat in between their sets! "We booked Oscar and Dom for our wedding ceremony and reception. They agreed to travel down for the day and also learnt some song requests specifically for the day and played throughout the afternoon during the drinks reception. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't recommend them enough and if we ever have an event in need of musicians again, I know who to ask for!"

"The Stereobeats were just awesome, great sound quality, brilliant singers and a live saxophone!! Everything we asked for they did, the 90’s dance/rave section had the whole place jumping and how a band can play a version of Insomnia quite as good as they did was just insane...incredible night loved by all, thank you!!"

"Hi Andy, You were brilliant. Review below. Thanks so much to the brilliant ‘Primed’ for performing at our wedding last week. They arrived on time, and looked great, and managed to get set up in a very small space. We went for their rock-eoke option because we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to sing with a live band - and that went down so well. So many people wanted to get up and sing. The range of available songs was broad - guests sung everything from Dolly's 9-5 to Robbie's Angels and the band accompanied them sensitively and with flair. What a talented bunch of musicians they are. It was great to have the lead singer support too - we needed it! ha! The band even went above and beyond by adding a specific song to their list for my groom and I to sing on our big day. Thanks so much Primed. Would recommend you to anyone. "
