"Winklepickers were a fantastic choice, we had just the two of them and it really made the night. They made such a lovely atmosphere and even with the two of them we had some persistent boogiers. People who are talented musicians themselves said they were excellent. They played all the favourites, and even learned a song just for us. Thank you Winklepickers!"

"Hi Ben, They were absolutely amazing, so many people approached me to comment on how good they were and to ask for the band’s name! Their rendition of the Harry Potter theme tune upon entrance made it spectacular and it was very sweet of them to provide the Harry Potter soundtrack music afterwards. "We were incredibly lucky to have Victoria perform at our wedding at Frickley Lake on 4th July, and we honestly couldn't have wished for anyone better. Victoria played during our drinks reception immediately after the ceremony, while our guests mingled by the lake with a glass of bubbly in hand. It created the most magical atmosphere. Her beautiful voice drifted across the water, and it was exactly the elegant, relaxed vibe we had dreamed of for our wedding. Her style is the perfect blend of modern songs with a classy vintage twist. It felt timeless, sophisticated and completely unique. So many of our guests have commented since the wedding on just how incredible she was and how much they loved listening to her. From our very first conversation, Victoria was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was warm, professional, responsive and made everything so easy in the run-up to the day. On the day itself, she was calm, organised and completely effortless - allowing us to simply enjoy every moment. Victoria didn't just provide music; she added a real sense of elegance and occasion to our wedding. It was one of those details that elevated the whole experience, and we're so grateful she was part of our day. She gave a dream performance and is a thoroughly lovely person. "We booked the Shakesters to play at a joint 30th and 60th birthday party with a 1950′s and 1980′s theme, a wide age range to entertain! They were absolutely fantastic, got everyone dancing with some great interaction with the guests and making sure the birthday boy and birthday girl got shouts outs and were the centre of attention! They were really organised, making sure they knew what we were expecting from them in the planning stages, to setting up promptly and playing an epic set! Highlight of the night, a great group of guys and we could not recommend them enough for any function!"

"I'm just writing to say thank you so much to the band for rocking our wedding last Saturday. You and the band were just brilliant - they sounded amazing, looked great, had such charisma and stage presence, and we just loved their music so much.Global Grooves had everyone on their feet and joining in and everyone raved about the music. I'm so glad we booked the band for a mellow reggae afternoon set as well which was just gorgeous on a lovely sunny afternoon. Thanks too for letting various family members sing with the band - an experience they (and we!) won't forget. You’ve all been completely reliable, professional and fantastic in every way. "First of all a massive thank you to Starbound lads!! They helped make our day even more special, even if the weather wasn't that great. Everything from the initial correspondence to the final song was effortless and professional. The song we had asked them to learn, chase and status - alive, was a difficult song to learn however, it sounded even better than the original!!!! A lot of our guests asked what the song was and commented on how good it sounded!! The rest of their performance was of a similarly high quality. The band had great interaction with the wedding crowd and the dance floor was never empty! Everything was exactly as we could have hoped and better. I would highly recommend this band to anyone wishing to add to their special day. Thank you so much gents! "

"LOVED this band who played wonderful jazz and couldn't have been more accommodating. I liked the fact that John, the band leader, was so thoughtful about how to get the party going with a nice welcoming vibe and also helped me decide when they should play and for how long etc. It was great having another person with whom to plan the right atmosphere. The party was for an ex-trumpet player, so it was important that we had a proper jazz band - and they are! So many of our guests said how much they loved the music; it really made the party. Thank you so much. "

"I just wanted to thank you and your amazing band for such a fantastic performance on Saturday. People were absolutely blown away by you and I have to admit I'm a bit annoyed I couldn't just relax and enjoy all the songs we'd chosen - I kept hearing them and thinking 'I love that one!' then someone would interrupt me! But our guests had a fantastic time dancing away to your music and people have said to me that they'll never have a party without a band again. I was particularly struck by how perfect the jazz was when I walked in, it really was exactly what I wanted and set the tone so beautifully. If we ever need a band again I will definitely be in touch! "
