"My first impression is how well they all get on. There is a lot of laughter even as they are setting up their stuff. Jazz musicians can be a bit moody but this lot don't take themselves so seriously. They are talking and joking with everyone all the way through. And you can see as they play, they are changing the music based on whats happening. Always sounds great. First time I saw them was in our pub on a Sunday lunchtime and at the end all these kids and their mums wanted to have selfies taken with the band and they were just delighted, letting the kids hold the instruments, messing about for the cameras. Their positive attitude makes a world of difference. I'm not surprised they have done so well. Don't forget where you started! Definitely recommend them."

"Swing Mode Vintage absolutely made our day: they were absolutely the perfect evening entertainment for our wedding! The music was really really cool, they had people up and dancing and just really brought a great atmosphere with them. It was fantastic. The band were all really kind and well organised; there was zero stress & zero faff. They got everything set up in good time including background music between the two sets. They took a special request for our first dance and it was really really wonderful. Overall we were just thrilled with the music: it was really really cool stuff - modern and funky, but most important just great fun!"

"The grand central trio are a brilliant band to work with. Never late (always early), highly professional, polite and all round a top bunch of guys, as a business owner I couldn’t recommend them more highly. The jazz they play if absolutely brilliant and our guests always love their sets, and we are always fully booked when they come to town. "I booked The BV's to perform at The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh on 20th May 2017 as part of a programme to present some of the finest acts from Edinbugh and beyond in the iconic setting of Palm Court.
