"Finding a great band for a wedding is surprisingly excruciating and risky. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic, so we had to rely on online videos when searching for bands. We discovered very many high-priced function bands that look pretty, have excellent promotional videos and websites, but have absolutely no soul or no groove. We also had a few lucky escapes: such as certain bands failing to tell us that the very talented lead singer in their promotional video wouldn't be performing with the band, and a few of the bands we saw in pubs and bars demonstrating no idea how to set their PA system to enjoyable levels. Oh and did I mention some bands were requesting RIDICULOUS prices! However, for us it was so important to find a good band, as my new wife and I and many of our friends are dancers, and we wanted lots of people to dance at our wedding. I wrote a specific brief and had high standards, which meant I spent AAAAGGGGES searching and was mostly disappointed. But then somehow, I finally stumbled across Disco Infernos's videos. Oh - My - GOD! Prayers were answered and we hadn't even got to the church yet. They offered a few bands of different styles, sizes and repertoires - and for us Disco Infernos was the closest to what we wanted. Disco Infernos are also super adaptable, as whilst some of the performers we liked weren't available, we were offered a variety of other performers and could choose who we thought would work best for our occasion, and even the kind of outfits they could wear (although we weren't really fussy about that. What we wanted was a great band.) The standard of everyone we reviewed was very high, and when we wanted performers that could perform funk, soul, disco, jazz, R&B and pop within one performance we got them. I don't like the saxophone, so I asked for a trombone player instead. Done. We reviewed a variety of lead singers, and we chose Najwa, and we're so pleased we did. She gave a superstar performance with a personable, upbeat and still professional attitude, incorporating so many of our specific requests that we knew our guests would enjoy, and encouraging our guests to interact with her whilst she was on stage. Due to a delay caused in to the start of the meal, the band even accommodated a shorter mid-set break to keep the dancing and energy going through-out the reception. Not only did that ensure we continued having an excellent wedding party, it truly gave us value for money for our booking. Guests loved the band. We loved the band. And the band seemed to love our wedding. All very important. We are very grateful to Rhona, Disco Infernos and when we have another occasion where we'd like a great function band, we'll first approach Disco Infernos. "

"Having the String Quartet play at our wedding was one of the highlights of the day and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Being able to pick music that we loved and knew so well (and was fun!) made us really feel like we were adding something personal to us, to our day. Listening to them during the wedding breakfast felt like we were having our own concert! Kim was a pleasure to deal with and we really appreciated them fitting around our timings for the day."

"Myself and customers at the Old Crown had the pleasure of experiencing David Marlton, Lee Lawrence and Rob Stutterheim perform a range of jazz for the evening – they executed a wonderful performance and stayed in tune not only musically but with the energy of the crowd. I have already scheduled a return for these talented musicians and they will always be welcome here."

"It was our best friend's wedding date so we wanted a singer and we booked Lovely. 1 week before the booking Lovely agreed to learn a new song which was very important for the couple! She arrived on time, got changed, and then spent a couple of minutes going through the finalised order of reception with us. As soon as she started with first song (song she learned specially for the couple) the bride and groom became overcome with emotional. Lovely is a fantastic singer and equally has a very good stage presence. Would highly recommend."

"Mark was absolutely INSANE from start to finish. We had 3 short burst sets throughout our day 2 wedding celebrate with around 150 guests. Every single person commented on how amazing Mark was. Mark had our guests fully hooked in the sax experience and absolutely read the room to get on the wave of our big celebration party vibe. We loved absolutely everything about it and will be booking Mark again in the future. The BEST most EPIC weekend of our entire life.
