Review Centre: 1920s, 30s & 40s Style Bands

"We are so happy that we made the decision to book The Pharaoh's for our wedding on the 3/09/22. Our guests are still talking about how good the band were 2 weeks later. We knew from the early stages of planning we wanted a band and fortunately the band were able to make our rearranged date. They stayed in touch throughout what would become nearly 2 1/2 years since making the booking and responded to our questions throughout the time period. They even went the extra mile and learnt our first dance song as it wasn’t one which they had played together before. They were fantastic on the night, the dance floor stayed full and they even let a few of our guests get up and perform with them. We were married in Yorkshire with the band coming from Essex. Everyone at first wondered why we hadn’t gone more local, but once the band started playing they understood. Would recommend to anyone wanting a band who can perform songs across the decades."

They are super efficient and easy to communicate with, making the whole process of booking them really straightforward and stress-free. The band itself is just brilliant: all our guests said so and the dance floor was full throughout their set. They really made the event. "Lucinda came last night to our local residents’ association summer street party. She was so friendly and organised. Went straight to the venue, had her own mic etc all set up. She sang a great mixture of pop, musical classics and old favourites. Perfect for a balmy summer’s evening. Everyone loved her and we’d definitely have her back next year. She asked me about the dress code and got it bang on. Highly recommend! Also very good about being in touch re details which is so reassuring when you’re planning a huge event. "

"Thanks SO much for last night. The part was everything we wanted and more. We had a great great laugh and the vibe was fantastic. Sarah loved it all. I think the things that made it were the people -of course- and the music. You got it spot on with how to play it and loads of people said how much they enjoyed Swingtime. Hannah liked it a lot too. The sound was great and just what we hoped for. "

"I cannot recommend All That Jazz highly enough. We weren't sure if having a wedding band would be a sensible use of our budget, but we're so glad we hired All That Jazz. They're such talented musicians. We had one set of jazz and one party set (Girl Got Soul), and the combination worked really well. Communication was excellent, the band worked with me on the setlist and were very nice in reassuring me that my requests weren't bridezilla-ish. :)"

"This band made my wedding day! I could not have asked for more from them. They sussed out exactly what I wanted in a couple of emails and on the day played this at a very high standard indeed. They went out of their way to play many specific tunes I had requested. Only problem was I wanted to get rid of my guests so I could hear them undisturbed! They were also generally pleasure to have at the occasion, arriving exactly when requested and delivering exactly what was asked of them. Book this band :)"

"We experienced the wonderful soothing Jazz tones of Sonia and her band at Penlee Park Open Air Theatre. Sonia and the team played in this unique setting and entertained us with an evening of Gin and Jazz. The highly skilled musicians, with their double bass, keys, flute and saxophone accompanied the amazing vocals to many a well loved tune. We would highly recommend going along to one of their future gigs, or booking them for your own gig!"

"We hired Jason and the band for our wedding. Jason was so professional and easy to deal with, he listened to what we wanted and accommodated with out any fuss. The band gave an amazing performance and we'd highly recommend them for any party. Our friends and family loved the music and we've had lots of compliments on our choice."
