"We had The Pharaoh's sing at our wedding reception in the garden, they were AMAZING. We had loads of great comments and other friends asking for her contact details. We even requested various songs that she didn't do, which were special to us and really made the day. Got to say "you've got the love " was just bloody brilliant.."

"I just wanted to say a big thank you and Always for playing at our wedding at Lulworth Castle, you guys were absolutely brilliant and were everything we had hoped for. You perfectly captured the mood of the day and everyone said how much they enjoyed the saxophone music. I only wish Luke and I could have stayed longer! We were so thrilled about our day and how perfect it was for us and your music at the reception drinks and in the evening played a huge part in making it just as we had imagined."

"Might As Well Be Swing were perfect for our 40’s/50’s tea dance with their retro clothes and beautiful instruments. They arrived in good time and set up quickly and smoothly. They listened to our needs providing just the right music for our general over 60 audience who were soon up on the dance floor remembering all the old moves. A fantastic night that will be remembered in our village for many years. "

The band was fantastic, playing great gypsy jazz songs that everyone enjoyed and we had even our dance to "Sing sing sing", which was amazing. "I asked The River Jazz Quartet to play at my mother's funeral and wake: her will specified "New Orleans music to cheer the attenders" and The River Jazz Quartet filled the role perfectly. At the wake they changed to the sort of 1930's and 40's swing that Mother grew up with, and also played one of Jan's own compositions from the 1970's as a special treat. The matter was dealt with professionally, with the band giving good advice in advance and turning up in good time on the day. Highly recommended."

"The BV's helped make our party something special!! Live music certainly creates a lively, happy atmosphere which everyone enjoyed. They made everything easy, from pre-visit, to set up early and they were keen to fit with our choice of songs and our limited space. Carol has a perfect voice for her choice of jazzy blues – well worth their rate!"
