"Ruby was brilliant She turned up early, greeted us really well and set up quickly with no issues. Did 2 sets and a costume change and even had customers dancing Really great night Ruby was fantastic Would highly recommend "

"We booked Melisma Jazz at quite short notice for a garden party to celebrate our 5th Anniversary as a business. Sarah-Jane Morris was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible in piecing together a quartet that suited our needs, and the atmosphere created by Sarah-Jane and her fellow musicians on the day was superb. "Daniel put together a band to provide music for my son’s wedding. Beforehand he gave his time to discuss what type of music, special requests etc both at the ceremony and the subsequent party. The band’s versatility meant we had to make no compromise at all. He gave time to visit the venue to make sure that he knew in advance how the set up would work. The music itself was great, definitely added to the enjoyment of the day and was widely commented on by our guests. They were even flexible to give an impromptu playing slot to my trumpet playing son. In short a pleasure to do business with Daniel and a first rate band of musicians that I heartily recommend."

"Excellent jazz band, very classy, perfect for the event in question. It's nice to see a band which does things so simply and professionally, providing a full sound with the minimum of equipment. They were happy to play to the room when people were eating and talking, at a volume which still allowed conversation, but were friendly and engaging as and when people wanted to interact with them. The singer they provide has a great voice, well matched to their style, no over-acting or dramatic self indulgence, just confident strong and pitch perfect. Great day, thank you."
