We felt you accurately tailored the music to give a really positive and upbeat feel to the evening with the James Bond themed part being particularly popular with everyone. "Spud is an amazing guy. Turned up to our wedding made the whole family feel at ease. We felt like we had known him years. He made our wedding in the Scottish highlands in Aviemore just perfect. It snowed and spud was outside piping. It really was special and our dream to have spud piping on our special day. Thank you spud you really are one talented guy. "

Your singing and charming presence turned the evening into something truly magical. We were blessed by the beautiful weather and a very attentive and appreciative audience. As you know, not everyone there was very knowledgeable about opera but they all came away wanting to learn more and that is a truly wonderful achievement on your part. The way you explained the background to each song enhanced the experience for everyone. For all of us, the emotion you put into the singing was very moving. "Billy played at our wedding on the weekend and was absolutely amazing. His music is beautiful and adds a great atmosphere and he was so calm and flexible on the day which made everyone feel so at ease with any changes in plan. Billy learnt the news songs that we asked him to and arrived at the venue way earlier than required to set up and to practise with the singer - he really went above and beyond. We appreciated his work massively and couldn’t recommend him more! "

"What playing! Here was technical virtuosity and musical colour illustrating the diversity of mood which these unusual pictures inspired. This brought to a dramatic conclusion a superb recital that was rich in diversity, enabling us to glimpse the variety of interpretative skills which John possesses. We hope to hear him again very soon."
