"Booking EM Strings was a dream fulfilled as I always wanted a live instrument band playing on my wedding. It was surreal walking in to my favourite song playing from my childhood favourite film that is a classic Bollywood love story. The guest thoroughly enjoyed listening to them during the canapés and it set the tone of the wedding day so perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking for their special day. The variety of songs that they play means there’s something for everyone to enjoy."

"Phil sang for us at our Wedding on the 30th June 2018, he is absolutely terrific. He learnt our favourite song, The Sound of Silence by Disturbed, not an easy song but he smashed it. All of our guests really enjoyed listening to him as much as we did. He is a really lovely person too, we were so lucky to have him to make our day all the more special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. "

"Ryan and Jenny played our festival wedding in July 2023. They stepped in at the last minute when a band we had booked previously cancelled. They were brilliant from the start. Jenny was responsive to all communication and immediately put us at ease. They took into account the type of music we said we liked and reflected this in our set list. They let us use their microphone for speeches during the interval. Can’t say enough good things about the Canny Sound. They really helped make our wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again."

"What a truly outstanding musician Nigel is. I can’t thank Nigel enough for everything that he did for us on our wedding day! From our initial phone call, Nigel’s friendliness, helpfulness and expertise immediately shone through and I knew that we were in very good hands. Nigel made the entire process smooth and stress free; providing so much advice and guidance along the way which really helped to shape our day. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Nigel and he really did go the extra mile during the planning process to ensure everything was perfect; from advising us on song choices for parts of the day we weren’t sure about to learning specific versions of the songs that we had requested. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the time and effort Nigel put into our plans! The result? Truly beautiful music for every part of our wedding day. Listening to Nigel’s music as I walked down the aisle is a memory that will last for the rest of my life. Nigel has an incredibly impressive repertoire of music that he can play and he kept our guests thoroughly entertained throughout the whole of our drinks reception. He created a genuinely wonderful atmosphere and so many people commented on how much they were enjoying his music! Lots of guests also commented on how lovely a person Nigel is; something I can wholeheartedly attest to! Nigel’s piano set up is also absolutely stunning and really fit in with the décor of our venue. He even took the time to ask what colour theme we were using so he could provide matching flowers for his keyboard. We also asked Nigel to play a piano cover of our first dance and we were so thrilled that he was able to stay to do so. It was a magical moment and another memory that I shall cherish forever. Nigel possesses an incredible talent and I wholeheartedly recommend that you put your trust in him for your own wedding day because I have absolutely no doubt that you will be as blown away as we were. My only wish now is that I could listen to Nigel all over again! "

"From our daughter Kerri that got married at Loch Garten on Saturday the 7th August. - Spud was arranged as a surprise fo our wedding - and he really made the day ! Not only was he absolutely smashing banter in the nervous "before it's all go" moments, he was also the only one present to support my last moment run to the bathroom (in the forest) before heading up the aisle! (in the forest by Loch Garten) . His fab playing added a real air of atmosphere and ceremony to our outdoor, lochside wedding that it wouldn't have otherwise had - and he was a major hit with all the guests. Thank you so much again - cannot recommend enough! Kerri (and Chris) Ramsay-Collins From the Brides parents - We had an amazing day with Spud. He obviously has done many weddings but at least ,it was a first for him for a change, when the bride insisted on going to the bathroom in the woods before they set off. ... He was called in at the last moment as a surprise from us to our daughter and we are very glad he had a cancellation and could do ours. I could go on for ever about how good he is so I won't. What I will say is this, if you don't have him at your wedding you are a fool. He is a very nice man and you have the added bonus that he is a superb piper, the rest speaks for itself. "I booked Rory as a surprise for my partners 50th birthday party through [agency] in our local pub. He loves a sax player so I knew he would love it! We spoke before the event and made arrangements for Rory to arrive at the venue. There was a train strike so Rory kindly arrived extra earlier so not to be late. Rory played a set for 2 hours which was amazing a mix of different tunes. Everyone loved him including my partner who almost had a solo sax player playing to him!!! He is super talented and joined in with the guests who enjoyed his performance and have not stopped talking about it since! I would highly recommend Rory and thank him for making our event extra special!"

"Martin played at our wedding ceremony on 17th May this year. It was a fantastic day and was made even more special and memorable by Martin's contribution to the day. We first saw Martin at a friends wedding and loved him so much we knew we had to have him for ours too. The guests loved the atmosphere he created. He has lots of music for you choose from, but still went that extra mile and created a new track of a song I loved for my entrance piece. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking for some great live sax music! "
