Review Centre: Soul Bands

"I recently had Moonlit Moment play at my wedding, what a wonderful experience. We had opted for the 4 piece knowing that the addition of the drums would probably encourage a little more grooving on the dance floor. We weren't wrong, the floor didn't empty from the start of the night to the finish. The vocalist was a star, her voice is brilliant and she actively encouraged audience participation (which was quite a highlight). No request was too big, we had asked they join in part way through our first dance song, which they agreed to do and it made the occasion all that more special, the floor was filled within moments. As with most weddings our schedule was over running, the band fit in with us every step of the way, they were polite, professional and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure to have them part of our special day. All of our guests commented on how great it was to have a live band. The booking process is very easy and their manager answered all queries promptly, she helped with all sorts of guidance along the way to ensure our event was perfect. If you are thinking of a live band for your next event I can highly recommend Eclipse. Many thanks to Rhona, and the band. "

We were hugely impressed with the band and particularly loved the choice of covers you played, from soul to disco to rock, the songs went down so well with everyone, evident by the packed dance floor! "Soul Generations performed at our wedding this weekend just gone and they were everything we could have wanted! The whole band sounded brilliant and song choices were perfect. From first to last song we enjoyed every second of it, they interacted well with our guests, had a great sound from wherever you were in the venue, and kindly allowed us to use their PA system after to continue the music until the end of the night. I couldn't recommend them more!"

"The band were not only incredibly talented but they also went out of their way to bring a party vibe to our 1920s wedding, making sure all our guests were having a fantastic time! The dance floor was packed throughout and their special requests songs meant so much to us as the bride and groom. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment. "I know I’m repeating a lot of comments on here but this band made our wedding, they were fantastic from start to finish. We had Chris and Gabrielle play the ceremony and then play a couple of sets in the afternoon and they were brilliant. They learned some songs for our ceremony and nailed them. We had so many fantastic comments about them from our guests. Their sets through the day were superb as well, some brilliant songs which kept our guests entertained, couldn’t have asked for more. In the evening they were joined by the wider band who took it to the next level for the party. The songs they played they filled the floor all night and performed them first class. They even learned the song for our first dance and just made it extra special. So many good things to say about them, they were so professional throughout the entire event I wish I could do it all again. Thank you so much Relative Cool, you made our wedding, you were brilliant in every way! We will definitely hire you again for any event in the future! "

"We had our wedding reception early September and had a 3 piece band with a guitar, saxophone and singer. Gloria and band were amazing. They set the tone so well and our first dance was a success. Gloria was more than happy to provide just a rough guitar track for the song we were going to dance to and that really helped with our practices. The dinner part of our wedding went on a bit late but the band was patient in waiting for us. The music was top notch, the mood and everything was just perfect. All our guests loved them. Had a good time dancing and talking. Would highly recommend them to anyone who's interested! Thanks so much Gloria!"
