"Booked Naomi to perform over zoom for my wife's 26th birthday. With it being lockdown in Scotland and not having many options, I thought it would be a lovely surprise for her to have a talented musician play a few of her favourite songs. I gave Naomi a list of a few special songs that she could play for us and without complaint or hesitation she was more than happy to play them for us. From the moment I made contact to the day of the performance everything was just perfection. My wife loved it as did I, she is still buzzing that Naomi played all her favourite songs on violin. Cannot recommend Naomi highly enough. She played beautifully. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Utterly splendid. Perfection. "

You were fantastic and it certainly set the feel for the evening playing outside the Marquee as guests arrived. "We were looking for a band with a repertoire of jump jive and swing music for our wedding reception and found One Jump Ahead. The band did such a great job, they had such great energy, and our guests loved dancing to their music. There was good variety of songs so that our non-swing dancing guests could show of their moves too! We loved the first dance and really appreciate the band learning the song for us, we hope they will continue to play it in their future gigs. We had very good communication with Kit in the run up to the wedding and the band were able to set up by themselves which made things run smoothly for us, and were very flexible and relaxed on the night. We'll be recommending you to our family and friends for future events!"

Thanks Sherri! It was a really great reception, made all the better by the lovely sunny weather we had. It was excellent that many of your guests were swing dancers - we always like to play for them! (It's still a pleasure playing for other dancers, too, of course - or even those who prefer just to listen!) We enjoyed learning your request and will be very likely include it in our sets at future wedding receptions. We're only too happy for you to pass on our details to family and friends for other occasions. We hope that you and Tom have a long and happy life together! - Kit.

"Simon was very easy to work with – and flexible on what the band could play. At very short notice they had to add some traditional bar mitzvah music to their repertoire, which they played very well. Also with almost no notice, Simon had to take over the role of MC during the later part of the evening, as our MC was slightly indisposed. He did that very well. The music was mainly dance music that most people could enjoy, either dancing or just listening to. We all loved it including my 20-year-old nephew who is studying piano at Trinity. Guests were dancing the night away and the music really added to the joyous atmosphere. And the sound level was kept at a reasonable level, so those who did not want to dance could still talk. We received lots of compliments on our choice of band. I definitely recommend them."

"Martin played for a recent wedding in our function suite and his music was greatly enjoyed by the bride and groom and also our staff, he was a pleasure to deal with on the day, even after being asked to move to different locations of the suite 3 times! , we will certainly be asking him back for future events."

"Having seen Maria perform a stunning set at our annual Jingle Ball, I recently hired this acoustic duo for a Key 103 listener party and the feedback from all guests was excellent. The selection of songs was spot on and the dance floor was packed, I wish I'd have asked for an extra 1/2 hour!! "

"The idea to have a jazz band was a real last minute decision for us as we have always hired a soul band. We were thoroughly delighted with the decision we made! It was so nice that our clients could talk and listen to the wonderful music at the same time. The perfect entertainment for a corporate event, we will book again soon!"

"Wow...we cannot thank Lauren enough for singing at our wedding. Lauren was simply amazing and we received so many comments about how good she was. She not only has the most fantastic voice but she was a pleasure to coordinate with and made sure to check we were happy with everything. Can not recommend Lauren enough, definitely one of the best decisions we made."

"The BV's performed in June 2016 at my parents Golden Wedding celebration and we couldn't have asked for better. Their playlist was excellent and fitted perfectly for the occasion. They set up up promptly and were excellent at involving my parents and the younger guests appropriately making it a very special and enjoyable evening. I actually can't recommend them any higher!"
