"Lizz was a violinist at our wedding recently, and she was totally amazing! So many of our guests especially mentioned how fabulous she was - from initial quote through to the day Lizz was very professional and friendly, she worked with us closely to plan our day including a special piece for the procession and exit from church and chosen pieces for entertaining our guests throughout the ceremony and champagne reception! Thank you for helping make our amazing day x"

"The grand central trio are a brilliant band to work with. Never late (always early), highly professional, polite and all round a top bunch of guys, as a business owner I couldn’t recommend them more highly. The jazz they play if absolutely brilliant and our guests always love their sets, and we are always fully booked when they come to town. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Quartet – Linda Duly’s Retirement Party – April 2026 We had a great evening of Ceilidh dancing with Black Velvet providing the entertainment. Around 50 of us with little or no experience had so much fun – loads of smiles and happy faces! Thanks Black Velvet Band."

"Cecily was a delight, a really excellent choice. We and our 80-plus guests enjoyed the music she played so beautifully on her harp during and after the meal at our Golden Wedding Celebration Lunch. We left her to select the pieces of music, based on my advice to her of the age profile of the guests etc, and she did this admirably. Overall we have absolutely nothing but praise for Cecily. We will have no hesitation in recommending her to our friends."
