"Whilst searching for a 1920s style band for a 30th birthday party we came across Trip for Biscuits. WOW, just WOW!! As soon as I watched the videos and listened to the tracks online I knew we had to book them. Laura's voice is outstanding and the musicianship is second to none! So glad we found you guys. "A general consensus put your slot at the top of the list for the w/e, closely followed, I must add, by the hog! Thank you so much for making us all smile – everyone loved the music and commented on the brilliant “calling” – a bright lady! I have given your name to several folk, but I wasn’t able to tell them how far you travel for a gig, as many of our friends live in the Bristol area. Thanks again for helping to make our 60th birthday party so memorable."

"Wow! How wonderful are you two! We had an amazing day, topped off with an amazing evening and have received such positive feedback from our family and friends that we are absolutely basking in your glory!! Chatting to you, Jackie, on the phone long beforehand to explain who we are and what we hoped for was very important, and you were so easy to talk to. Your play list was great and the couple of items we rejected were taken out of the list without any issues. You opened with a song of our choice for our first dance, even though it was not on your playlist, and you graciously invited others on to the dance floor as the song progressed, in response to our request to steer the spotlight away from us. You listened to us and understood. You seemed to have people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. I don't think I've ever been to an event where that has happened. You had four and six year olds dancing and playing with the lights on the floor; you had friends who prefer a slow dance smooching to a number of songs; you had a large number of people following your "dance" moves; you had many people singing along; and we have received comments from the non dancers that your music wasn't too loud, so they could carry on conversations while others danced. And, amazingly (given that we had told you we were a bit stuck in the 70s) you had the teenagers up and dancing and having a really great time. We had a number of discerning musicians among our guests and without exception they thought you were a great band. You arrived to set up just as we were starting to eat yet there was no disruption. Thankyou for lending us your microphone for the speeches. You are a very talented couple and we are so pleased that you were able to entertain us and our wedding guests. Thankyou again. Judith"

"We just want to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding on the 1st March and being amazing, so glad we booked you as hearing you play as I walked down the aisle was the best feeling and certainly made it special. I don't remember much about the wedding as the day just flew and it's all pretty much a blur but I do remember the doors opening and hearing you start to play....was an incredible feeling. Thank you so much again! "

"Fleur and her fellow musician Hugh played a very generous hour and a half of music over two sessions, socialising in between and with the other guests. Their music is great and we got thanks and much positive feedback from Our friends. Generally Fleur performs jazz standards and blues, billie Holiday-Influence, , well punctuated with Latin American and bossa nova sounds from the charts, past and present. Her guitarist Hugh accompanies to a very high professional standard and treats the audience to the occasional virtuoso solo. Fully, highly recommended. "
