Review Centre: Bands with DJ's

"I have seen this band twice. First time was at Rock Bottom in Marlow Bottom and the other was last week for the Carribean Day at Marlow Legion. Both times they have been fantastic and got the crowds dancing from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant ? ?. Would recommend them for any kind of event where you want upbeat tunes and lots of dancing ? ? "

"Myself and Jennie booked Alfie's Hot Hats for our wedding and are we glad that we did! Alfie was exceptionally helpful in the run up, helping to guide us through choosing set lists, arranging DJ sets in between live performances, offering advice as to what would work and what wouldn't and answering a barrage of emails and questions with constructive help and advice. On the day both guys were flexible enough to change plans at very short notice due to inclement weather and arrived in good time to sound check and perform despite confusion over the venue caused by myself. The guys brought full lighting and PA equipment and both they and the room looked fantastic for our guests to arrive. The music itself was superbly performed with both Alfie and Russ interacting with the guests and getting everyone up on the dance floor for the whole evening with a great mix of old and new classics. I'll particularly never forget their Somerset version of 'Mr Brightside'! The guys went the extra mile even cutting breaks short to ensure we got our money's worth due to a late start caused by us. Overall the guys are thoroughly professional, entertaining and generate the sort of atmosphere you would expect from a much larger group. Our guests without exception have commented how good the band was and how much they enjoyed the evening and that was due in a large part to the Hot Hats."

"Last night the SOUL SUITE played host to another great band - The Coverz Band. They did a great job on entertaining you lovely people with a great selection of songs that kept you dancing all night. Not the result that we were looking for in the rugby but it didn’t dampen the mood at the club as all you 'Soul Suiters' were still up for a party! A Big thank you to Alun and the boys on a fab job. See you back at the club very very soon."

"These guys are absolutely amazing! I was a delegate at a work event at the York National Railway museum and loved every second of them performing. I'm just kind of gutted I have already booked someone for my wedding entertainment otherwise I would have been all over these guys! Book them - I am sure you won't be disappointed!"

"Excellent band!! Had the pleasure of seeing this band at a party on Saturday have to say…one of the best bands we’ve seen!! Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Singers were amazing and the band was just fab!!! Would highly recommend. "

"We thought Relative Cool were absolutely brilliant when they played at our wedding. The vocalist was fabulous! The 3 sets filled the whole evening and definitely had everyone up dancing. I also really appreciated little things like the singer chatting with one of the kids while they had a break between sets. They were thoroughly professional throughout. We spoke to Tom before the evening and he was always really responsive with messages. We would definitely recommend them and thank you very much for making it a great evening!"

"Saturday 15th July 2017 – Silver Wedding & 50th Birthday Celebration. We just wanted to thank you and the whole band for the fantastic music last weekend. We both really enjoyed the whole event and our guests all commented on how good Primed were, you catered for all music tastes across the wide range of ages we had attending our Silver wedding anniversary celebration. You got everyone up ‘rock and rolling’ and your set up and breakdown was done efficiently and we hope you all enjoyed the night as much as we all did. Rebecca brought fantastic energy to the evening and it was a joy to have them play for us. "On the business and organising side, I have to say that MIB offer tremendous value for money, backed by the highest levels of professionalism and heaps of clear and concise communication. It was great to run an event where such a key element was not on the worry list. The guys were so up for it and on top of their game that several people asked if it was ‘our usual band’, thinking that we must have worked together before! "

"We booked these guys through the Son of my now wife for the evening of our wedding. Our only mistake was not booking them for longer on the evening. We should have had them all night. We had Unwritten Duo band. The vocals were awesome and capped a fantastic evening. A mixture of great soulful classics and some slightly more obscure tracks. I’d definitely travel to see these guys and the more intimate the venue the better. They could play big venues but are better in a small place where sing to you not at you. Fantastic set guys and thank you. Xx"

"Had Lucy for our wedding singer and she took care of music for the whole day, from ceremony right up to the end of the night and it was perfect.
