"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping make our day so memorable. Everyone really enjoyed the band, and despite the very hot weather, people were dancing away. No one wanted them to leave at the end! We loved our first dance, and had such a great time. It was such a special day and we are so pleased that we chose you as our band. "I would highly recommend It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to anyone who wants to have a first class ceilidh experience! I use them evey year for our French exchange ceilidh and everyone loves their music; children, teenagers and parents alike! They explain the dances clearly so even our French visitors can take part and they play with such enthusiasm that the dance floor is never empty. They are reliable, professional and full of fun, so our ceilidh is always the highlight of our exchange week. Thank you guys - you do a fantastic job!"

"Saturday went really well. The band were great and the client was delighted - both with the sets the band played and the backing for when Laurie sang! The additional half an hour playing was also really appreciated. Also, during the planning stage, the time that was spent re-assuring and working with Laurie ready for her solo was great. From our point of view it was lovely to work with such a nice band, very easy going and flexible when timings and plans changed on site. The music was briliant, the vocalists were amazing too. All in all a resounding success - so thank you very much. Hopefully we’ll be working with you all again soon."

"When tasked with the job to book a band for our Summer Ball on Weston-super-Mare pier, I knew Shakers Gold would be perfect and booked them without hesitation. They played at our Wedding last year & went down a storm. If you're looking for a great band who are professional & sound amazing then look no further!
