Review Centre: Jazz Bands

"Here at Heart events we love The Misophone Collective. They played in our cafe on Tuesday night 30 April and they were amazing, we would welcome them back anytime. They started off with some Django Reinhart style numbers, playing in particular to the strengths of the 2 violins. In the second set they moved into a European gypsy theme getting more and more hectic and lively. The audience loved them and were up clapping and dancing- almost dancing on the tables! "

"I booked the quartet to play at my nan's 80th birthday party and they were perfect! They were incredibly communicative and accommodating in the planning of the event, arrived promptly and waited patiently whilst we herded the guests. The repertoire was exactly what we were looking for - jazz and swing classics that my nan and our family enjoyed dancing to. A most excellent time was had by all! The standard of musicianship was of an excellent quality - the demo clips on the site are truly representative of the performance you can expect. Five stars all round "

"A fantastic experience, the Jumpin' Jivers provided a unique performance that was perfect for our 'Golden Age of Cinema' themed event. All the team were extremely friendly and topped off our night with a superb performance. They contacted me before the event to check that they were the right fit and they absolutley were. "We booked this amazing band for a big birthday party in August. Their versatility and musical ability enabled all the guests to experience a variety of music including jazz, soul and old and new styles. They arranged covers to suit the occasion and had everybody singing along, dancing and really enjoying themselves. They played background music at first so that people could chat and moved onto more lively numbers as the evening went on. The female singer has a beautiful voice! I would highly recommend this talented group of musicians for any event. You will be enthralled and entertained and certainly not disappointed!"
