"Everything you did for our son's bar mitzvah was just spot on – the playlist was brilliantly thought out to please both his friends, and the rest of our family and friends, and the energy on stage was just electric! We all had such a fantastic evening and this was completely down to you and your fantastic musicians… thank you so much. We’ll be in touch for our daughters wedding next year!"

"Careful thought was taken in finding the right band and genre of music that would compliment our formal charity dinner held at Britannia Royal Naval College in October 2013. The band provided a superb tailored set of soft jazz and virtuoso performances which delighted the guests. The band delivered. A rich performance, utilising the natural acoustic qualities of the quarterdeck for the reception was followed, after dinner, with a cosy intimate set in the Senior Gunroom bar. The band delivered. They were simply outstanding, producing exactly what was required to make this special event so memorable. I can not recommend them highly enough!"

"I love to hear Isobel sing and would not miss an opportunity to do so. I have heard her intimate dinner sets with solo guitar, party sets with electric quartets and jam with all comers. She has a beautiful, affecting voice on ballads and always works with the ensemble. She holds a room and clearly loves her work."

"We were so glad we chose Casado for our wedding and happy to write a few words as a recommendation. With over 800 guests we needed to know we were in good hands, we needn’t have worried, from the very start they were really professional and everything was done with the guests in mind. "Swing is the Thing played at our wedding and were absolutely sensational. Suzanne and all the band contributed to making our wedding absolutely fantastic. The music was perfect and every single guest commented on how brilliant the group was. They adapted to our schedule, had been in touch beforehand to enquire as to whether or not we had any particular requests, and tailored their performance to our evening. From dedicating a special song to the two of us, to performing in a charismatic, lively and thoroughly enthusiastic way, we couldn't have wished for a better band or nicer group of people. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this band for any event - they were well and truly fabulous and we feel so grateful that they played for our wedding. Even their outfits contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you Swing is the Thing!"

"We booked the band for our wedding and both their performance and professionalism was absolutely outstanding. Fifa was very easy to deal with and she and her band are extremely talented musicians. Their jazzy style was perfect for the vibe we were trying to create and whether they were playing the classics, or contemporary songs in a jazz style they got everyone up and dancing. Our guests have been raving about how great they were and we couldn't have been happier to have booked them."

"LOVED this band who played wonderful jazz and couldn't have been more accommodating. I liked the fact that John, the band leader, was so thoughtful about how to get the party going with a nice welcoming vibe and also helped me decide when they should play and for how long etc. It was great having another person with whom to plan the right atmosphere. The party was for an ex-trumpet player, so it was important that we had a proper jazz band - and they are! So many of our guests said how much they loved the music; it really made the party. Thank you so much. "

The band created an enchanting ambiance, setting the mood just right for the evening. They took the time to learn specially requested music and were helpful at making the whole event run smoothly."
