Review Centre: Party Bands

"Scherzando played at our wedding on 11/9/14 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. Everybody was very impressed by the group and thoroughly enjoyed their music. Many guests from the wedding commented on how good they were. From our perspective, they exceeded our expectations. Walking down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon in D made the day even more special for us. They were very professional and worked with us moving from the wedding ceremony, to the chapel, to the drinks reception and finally the wedding breakfast. In retrospect, I would definitely choose them for our wedding again. Many many thanks for helping us to make our day so special. Caroline and Dave."

"We had the most incredible evening and so much of that was down to these guys. Every one of our guests had a blast and have been asking how to book them. Flawless from start to finish – slick, professional, and clearly just love what they do. They had such great energy on stage and their set list was nonstop bangers. "The Fireflies were the perfect band for our wedding! We had collaborative and reassuring chats prior to the big day to discuss our music tastes and the types of music we would and wouldn't want to have on the set list. They handled our first dance beautifully and then entertained the party for the two sets. Both guests and the staff working the event have commented on how great the band were and I think we got exactly what we had wanted when we booked them. They were professional and swift in their communication and in their set-up on the day and really we couldn't have asked more of them across the whole experience. If you want a fun and engaging band who can get everyone up dancing across multiple music genres, this is your band! We would highly recommend!"

"I booked 'It Takes Two' to play at my 60th Birthday party. What a fantastic show. Everything we asked for and more. Kelly and Graham are two exceptional performers and entertained my guests perfectly. The Country and Western themed party was a blast. What a great way to celebrate my day. "I’m not sure any words I choose can do them justice. From the very first email enquiry with Ben A. to two days after our wedding the care, interest and level of service is exceptional. Ben answers emails quickly and with excellent information and warmth. He feels like a friend. The list of songs to choose from is varied and adapts to your personal taste The band arrived at our wedding and quietly set up, waited patiently for their set to start and then wowed everyone from start to finish. The wonderful Ben F’s voice does justice to every song they cover and sends shivers down my spine. The musicianship and standard of the individual members is perfect, well rehearsed and faultless. Absolutely well worth every penny of their fee and I’m so pleased we hired the 5 piece band. We have had nothing but praise and compliments about the band from all our wedding guests - young and old. My only sadness is that we had to circulate so much with our guests that we couldn’t just listen and dance to every song. Our grown up children and us are trying to think of an event we can organise to hire the band again - we’ve even suggested to one of them to get Engaged so we have an excuse! The icing on the cake was not only them learning our choice of first dance and performing it beautifully, it was Ben A providing me two days after the wedding with a video of Ben F’s acoustic version they used as a practice video. It was the best wedding present ever and will be listened to and treasured for years. Thank you to all the boys for helping make our wedding unforgettable."

"Eccentric Pony played at our wedding this year in the Lake District. We had great communication from Jimmy prior to the wedding day and were pleased that we were able to choose the songs that we wanted them to play from their extensive song list. They play a wide variety of songs which was just want we wanted and we received numerous comments from our wedding guests about how good the band were! We loved having you play at our wedding! "Could not have asked for a better band from booking through to the wedding day. Ian called us a couple of times pre wedding to understand our very different musical tastes and managed to mix them all in for two fab wedding day live sets and a DJ set. The band even played a special song which I was incredibly last minute in deciding! The lighting you provided to the venue also completely livened it up and created a whole different place for the evening! So many wonderful compliments from guests since the wedding about how great it was that so many people were on the dance floor and how this was encouraged by the interaction between guests and the band. They (and we) loved the music so much! The most fabulous entertainment for what was a brilliant day! Thank you so much! You’re fab!"

Sorry it took a while to get the dancing going (I think we can blame the hot weather for that), but music was so special towards the end of the evening and we loved seeing everyone dancing - we really didn't want to leave!"

"Flo Collective are the best band EVER. Everyone at the wedding said they were the best band they'd ever seen. The dance floor was packed. They are amazing performers and also the nicest people. So easy and fun in the run up to the wedding and on the night. We love them a lot!"
