"I booked Arabesque Strings very last minute for a formal supper on advice from LMM. They were fantastic! They were friendly, flexible and their music was perfect for the occasion, a very talented group who would add sparkle to any event - will definately book them again."

"Despite the adverse weather conditions (snow and ice) the Golden Valentines turned up promptly, set up efficiently and gave a fabulous high quality performance with great music We really enjoyed the evening and dancing. The audience was mixed ages from 20 to 70+ but everyone knew the songs and were very happy with the selection and the performance The musicians were of a very high standard and it was great to have live music "

"You may recall a desolate band of misfits in Tim Burton’s 'Nightmare Before Chirstmas' that popped up every now and then with musical interludes of damp and haunting melodies that were, in their own way, quite captivating. Well The Skeleton Crew have a very similar allure; that is intriguing violins and erratic accordions, both utterly besmirched with wonderfully gloomy undertones and lingering vocals."

"Just a quick note to say thank you to you and your colleagues for providing the beautiful string music for our wedding. The song choices for the ceremony worked so well and were played perfectly, and certainly added to what was already a very emotional room full of people! I wish I had heard more of the music but unfortunately I was outside welcoming guests for a large part, but the comments from our guests were very positive. We will certainly recommend you to friends and family. Thanks again."

"Vicki performed at my recent wedding. It was always my dream to have a saxophonist and Vicki did a perfect job. She brought the vibe I was hoping for, all the songs were amazing and fitted the surroundings perfectly. Everyone complimented how great she was and how much she made the drinks reception fun! " We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a party, and we could not have been happier with their performance. The band’s admin team reached out prior to the event to make arrangements, and communication was maintained throughout. Set up was quick and efficient in the background of our event, and before we knew it, we were forming lines for our first Ceilidh. It was a mixed group in terms of experience, but Phil delivered clear instructions prior to each dance, and everyone quickly picked it up. The trio are all exceptionally skilled musicians, and the music throughout the dancing was fantastic. We booked two hours of dancing and found that to be the perfect amount of time post-dinner. Black Velvet Band created a fun and lively atmosphere at our event and the Ceilidh dancing was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be in contact with the band for future events and would recommend them to all."
