"We really felt connected to everyone in the venue, everybody participated in the live songwriting session, all our ideas mixed together... we made 3 songs and it felt like all the strangers had known each other forever... It really is a type of show that is more a journey to a different destination, and one that brings people together, for real."

"Hired Melody James to perform at my aunties 90th birthday party. I was looking for a very specific style (40s/50s/60s) and Melody James was able to cater for this. The performance was enjoyed by all- she was fantastic. She was very friendly and professional and we felt she enjoyed her self as much as we did. Would defiantly hire again. "Lucinda played during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception for our recent wedding in June 2021 and she was absolutely perfect. We had a call before the wedding to talk through what type of music we wanted, and she was amazingly flexible in offering to play our entrance music song even though this was outside of her repertoire. We could not recommend Lucinda more highly - she made the ceremony so special and everyone commented afterwards how beautiful her music was. Thank you! "

"We cannot thank The Nomads enough for making our wedding so special and I cannot emphasise enough how incredible they were. Everybody absolutely LOVED them & their set list covered so many of our requests. Their acoustic set was perfect as our guests arrived at the venue reception and milled around but the evening set stole the show and was absolutely exceptional. They surpassed every expectation and I think the fact that our guests were desperate for multiple encores says it all! These guys were friendly and professional and we would have absolutely zero hesitation recommending them to anyone! Thank you so so much. "

"Dear Lilac, Thank you I have recovered, just two more parties to go, I have allowed for a couple of days between each I’m so pleased the band enjoyed the day as well. Your team did a lot to help make that great atmosphere. I have had a lot of thank you messages from guests; “good food, good company, great ceilidh”, “the ceilidh band were excellent”. Just two of the many complements. Isabel, my wife, and myself were delighted with your playing. For me you helped make the perfect party."

" I just wanted to put it in writing that I received loads of compliments about Trip for Biscuits. Many came to me today to say that they thought you were amazing. Everyone loved it, at times the dance floor was too small to accommodate all the fun and frolics and that was always my hope and mission. You are all such talented musicians and we are fortunate that you were able to play. It will go down in history as one of the best parties at the club ever and that is in large part due to the atmosphere created by the music. We really appreciated your sets, be they the piano and vocals or the six piece band. Many people kept referring to the brilliance of your arrangements of songs that were so familiar and loved by us all: particular favourites: right said Fred, jungle book, horny but there were others! Anyway, I hope that on the back of this, you will get more custom."
